i think the tube lets air flow into you mouth and if you form words with you mouth it
somehow manipulates the notes you play on the keyboard. you can get a simillar effect by holding a small speaker into your mouth. but you still need an external mic for the talkbox effect to work because you cant do hard sounds like "st" with it

make it sound extremely simple, a talkbox is a speaker enclosed in something airtight, and is hooked up to an instrument (his microkorg). the tube in his mouth is hooked up to the talkbox. so the sound from hte r3 comes out of hte speaker, runs out the tube in his mouth, and all he has to do is mouth the words. using a talkbox legibally takes practice.

I think you really just have to mix and match a bit with what's here. Ie. the intro here just needs a couple of breaks - workit...make...do it...makes us.... kinda thing.

if your synth has something like syn lead on it or something liek that chekc that out its usually relly eletcronic sounding jsut liek his. i knwo they are ll different btu my personal one is syn-lead2

you're probably the best/most intelligable talkboxers out there at the moment. Is that just the talkbox, or is it down to skill. What I mean is is it the size of your tube or what you do with it and how long did it take you to learn it.

You do need a microphone, but only to pick up the sound coming out of your mouth. Otherwise it would be too quiet to hear.
