This video is testing out the quality of my EasyCAP with different settings than my other video.

Xbox 360:
- Component cable on "Standard Definition" (Composite video)
- PAL 50
- Widescreen

Capturing with ULead Video Studio:
- Capture device: SYNTEK STK1150
- Capture format: MPEG-II DVD (custom profile)
- Region select: PAL I
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (Widescreen)
- Capture resolution: 1024 x 576
- Contant bitrate: 9500kb/s

Video Editing:
- ULead Video Studio
- File size before: 464Mb
- File size after: 148Mb

Uploaded to YouTube at 1024 x 576px

    The are 2 versions of EasyCAP, the v2 doesn't support PAL 60, the v3 does. You just have to make sure you buy one that does if you live in the UK, otherwise you won't be able to record games like CoD, or Halo like you said.

    alrite sorry just what i heard ty for pointing me wrong erm do u know if u can get pal 60 cause certain games wont play in pal 50 example i found cod 4 ?? any ideers and we have same quailty as u so i am happy there

  • It's impossible to ...

    It's impossible to capture HD video through a composite video connection. The maximum resolution a 360 will output in TV mode is 720x480(i). The only reason Dazzle says 1280x720 is because it just stretches the video out to that size, something that you could easily do with easycap if you wanted.

    Why don't you actually learn what you're talking about first so you aren't spreading misinformation via my videos.

    dazzal is better for 2 reasons more quality like 1280x1080 and slightly easier to use not sure if it dose pal 60 though
