Retard! It DOES have 2 single coils. How stupid can you get. And yes klanreps is right, there are tons of different types. Also "best" is really opinionated, and for the style, I'd say thats probs the "best" sort of sound. You can do anyting from country to metal on a tele, but this a blues solo, so read the title dumbass...

you have no idea of telecasters....really.....the american telecaster standard model has 2 signle coils..right?
but there are many other types of teles..such as humbuck-single coil or double humbuck...maybe you should check it out

strato is more versatile, easier to play.

a tele has its own sound, no guitar can match it btw its harder for a newbie.

i suggest you to play both teles and strats (american and mexican) and you will hear the difference, but only when youll be more experienced and you have in mind the soun you like from a guitar.

has anybody checked out the american with 2 humbuckers and a split switch which turns the humbuckers into single coils??i own one and it's sound is amazing!

looks like either a 2004-2007? fender telecaster DELUXE 3- tone sunburst. I have the 2006 model in 3 tone sunburst and its a great buy. They are between $1,000-$1,300. All serious musicians have to own a telecaster, its like a whole other instrument.
