have you looked into corrugated cardboard to make wood gas? What happens if you throw a little used oil on the wood?

The guy at "gengas . se" is good at calculations of systems. There are tables avalible for dimensioning. Hard woods are the best to use.

If you search on the net there is a picture of a woodgas motorcycle so it can be done.

I hear from the grapevine that, gasifers have been around for some time since before the great war because fuel was expensive back then so people had to look for other alternatives, Question: has anyone done any calculations to which woods produce the best/most gas and how much per/lb per/surface area?? I am a serious inventor interested in this technology!

Sure! You adjust the dimensions for the gasifier depending on how big the engine is.
