Horse Slaughter in the UK

I can't see anything wrong with what is going on here. They are being killed humanely without unecessary distress. If you want to have a go at someone have a go at the people who sent their horses there.

I am against all horse slaughter, but most of what I have seen on here, they are treated humanely before being shot. Most of the time, the horse goes down quickly and doesn't suffer. I just wish all plants would use this type of killing..instead a so-called "stunning" them first, then slitting their throat...or trying to severe their spines! All slaughter must end.

animal rights propaganda apart from 1 instance of letting a horse suffer there is nothing else untoward going on.These videos are designed to tug at the heartstings and only show you what they want you to see,these are people who dig up bodies and threaten lab staff in order to achieve there goal only there a bit like an extremist they hide behind a mask to cowardly to show there faces,these establishments have to have proper licences

Least these are all having a good life before they go, But alot of these looks healthy whiich makes me sick. Id ont think people should eat horses. After being shot in the head they should be burned and i think only knackered horses should be put down and not healthy or potential horses thats the bit thats makes me sick.!!!

It is a falsehood that horses must still be alive in order for the meat to be fit for human consumption. The fact is that they do it for speed of processing (so that they can butcher more of them in less time). An animal can be bled out even after the heart stops pumping but it takes longer. Horse slaughter is wrong and I want to see it end for good. Support HR 503 and S 311 and get the crooks out of office that oppose these bills!

now we just have a shitty market and too many S**t horses that are unwated. like i said: its not like everyone is jumping for joy for dead animals, but the fact is- what are you going to do about it. its cheaper to send them in peices than whole across the world. so unless the desire to stop eating horses comes about, there are going to be dead animals. a sad but true fact.
