it is high carbon steel alloy(making the steel hard and flexible instead of malleable) also known as spring steel
this one is a leaf spring from a holden barina (leaf spring is is part of the suspension) in other words the part of a car that holds up 1/4 of it's weight now shoots my crossbow bolts
