Hmm, i guess this means that, excluding Wapol, Buggy, Alvida, (Maybe Foxy too), etc. Only REALLY EVIL villains that Luffy faces will have their dreams REALLY crushed, such as Crocodile, Enel, Arlong, and now Lucci

Its a "shonen" series. Kids are the top audience. But its still fun and entertaining to me so thats all that matters. There are plenty of modern anime's out there for adult audiences as well. Seriously you sound like a disgruntled old man who is unwilling to accept that world is constantly progressing.

"Way back", anime fights were better. ever heard of 'fist of the north star'? This 'onepiece' is quite unentertaining for me. It's like a kid's anime, 'like dragon ball z' and 'naruto'-all that modern rubbish. Only a select few modern anime's are kinda cool, but "back then", anime was at it's best.

One Piece is a 'greatest treasure' that hidden by the late king of the pirates before he met his death, it said, if you have one piece you might buy even the world, but no one ever knows what one piece looks like, except the pirate king him self.

so luffy begin a journey to the grand line, gathering a crew (friends), wish to become the next king of the pirates and getting one piece

I'm not sure about the mother...some say she wanted a son so bad. When the doctor said that she was going to have another baby girl, she was devastated. she started telling people who asked about the pregnancy that she was pregnant with a baby snake. that's what i heard. not sure if it's a true story or not. it's a skin disease called Harlequin ichthyosis. who knows if it's related..

Subhanallah... i did some research on the net. It's actually a very rare skin disease called Harlequin ichthyosis. I think we should stop calling these babies with bayi ular/baby snake names. Kesian dia...they're not guilty. Don't make them feel unacceptable.

How can this be? What did the mother wrong? Please, give me some information!
