  • I was able to ride ...

I was able to ride the KAw 14 GTr the other day in around 85 degree hot day & when wearing leather biker boots , barely noticed the heat . But when i put my hand in that area it was warm but whippie poo poo , when i unleashed the bitch at 7G right to red line it was like holy F**k ! , does this bitch have an attitude!!!, wonderful power! , My only complaint at the end of my ride was my throttle hand was sore from hanging on so tight so i wouldnt fall off at top speed -like 200MPH:)

  • I own the FJR1300 ...

I own the FJR1300 ABS mod 2007 , I would go for the automatic, however it was quite more expensive. I am traveling 2-3 times each year to Europe , doing an average of 5000 km each trip. It's an awesome bike, extremely comfoy, full cases (rear and sides), good orque , good speed, nice handling, what else could a tourer give you! The one and only disadv/ge is that here is no 6th gear , and this is the only that bothers too much! It's reving too high on fifth and so drinks more fuel!!

  • Bought an FJR1300 ...

Bought an FJR1300 in 2002 (working in England at the time) and it was easily the worst bike I have ever owned. It went well, cornered well (ground out very easily tho) but was so uncomfortable for distance riding. After 1 hour in the saddle I couldn't wait to get off. I have never experienced this before or since. I spoke to about 8 other FJR1300 owners and 6 said the same thing, 1 thought comfort was OK and 1 thought was comfortable.
For a supposed tourer that's unforgiveable.
