i honestly can't think of a single good thing lincoln did. even his motives for freeing the slaves were bad. and he laid all the ground work for atleast half of america's problems today.

I didn't say the best leader. I just quoted something from Putin, the honesty thing. I was in the dark as to him being anti-semitic which bothers me now. But, why in the world then would Larry King have him on his show if this is the truth? What do you think of Donald Trump and his quote "One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace, good people don't go into government." Ronald Reagan had Alheimers ?

It's easy to forget a person's humble beginnings, even before a radio announcer, Ronald Reagan was a lifeguard who saved a total of 77 from the water. He was the only one who I believe really loved his wife Nancy as if they were soulmates. I look forward to listening to Jimmy Carter on CNN this Tuesday. The former President speaks what he makes of the current presidential candidates. Since he was one of the most decent and honest leaders, I for one will listen...

Ronald Reagan stood for optimism. Look how far he came: from a radio announcer to actor to Pres. of SAG to Pres. of the free world & struggled with Alheimer's for 15 years-in the end forgetting everything he became. He overcame defeats, scandals, divorce, family fights, a bullet lodge 1-inch from his heart, colon, prostrate, & skin cancer surgeries, even a broken hip. I'm sure in heaven, he can overcome any negative comments directed towards him.

There is too much elements of evil (read: Iran's Ahmadinejad, Saddam and their likes) that are seeking to crush the goodness in this world to chance taking a risk. The president(s) of the planet's most powerful country has/have humongous responsibility. Also, it is extremely expensive to lose a president in office.

yes the Nixon Library is about as wonderful as they come . And San Clamente is beautiful.
Nixon did a lot of good for this country . Best was getting us out of Vietnam . another Demmocrate lead war for over 10 years.

Demmocrates are the real dangerous policy makers in our Government today . They give away far to much of our Country . Those Kennedy folks are behind our Country mass deduction of Morals and Morality around the Land . Ted killed a woman and they promote him to the Ethics Commity ? Speak up people stop the madness .
