I suppose there's some other ways for those users who dont have cool whip...
u can try...
1. put the mixture into the ice cream maker.
2.use an electric beater to whip in some air every hour or so.
u guys can try them out!
We get so accustomed to some of the conveniences of the US - Cool Whip, being one :). Unfortunately, many other viewers from other countries are having the same issue not finding whipped topping. We don't know of any substitutes but if anyone else does, please feel free to share.

By VENtotheKAT [Affiliate User] 1217769049 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveFresh mango pieces will harden similar to peaches in a peach ice cream. It adds some texture to the ice cream, but you can definitely leave it out if you prefer. If using fresh mangoes, use a blender rather than a food processor. The pulp will be smoother.

By sabrina10122 [Affiliate User] 1217597022 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou need to first make vanilla icecream as the base and then add the mango flavour.

By 9247786 [Affiliate User] 1216904758 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveCoolWhip is actually very important in this recipe. It is the key ingredient which makes this a fluffy and creamy ice cream. When you say "compressed container", do you mean the cardboard box which holds liquid cream? If so, that is the problem. The only way you can use liquid cream is if you churn it in an ice cream maker. CoolWhip lets you skip the churning process and makes this "instant" ice cream.
By ShowMeTheCurry [Affiliate User] 1216844587 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThanks to Vani for the recipe and Anuja-Hetal u r doing a gr8 job .I truly enjoy watching and preparing the recipes. But when i made this Mango icecream it came out very icy. When i scoop it out instead of more creamy it was little icy. What could be the reason? Is it my freezer or did i do something wrong. Instead of the Coolwhip, i used the whipped light ceam (compressed containers-LandoLakes).But isnt it more or less the same.
Thanks
Unfortunately, we have had a lot of UK viewers with the same problem - no whipped topping available. We don't know of any substitute. Dairy whipped cream will not work because it will not withstand the freezing. Cool Whip has something in it to keep the "whipped" effect. If you use dairy whipping cream (that has not been whipped), then you would have to use an ice cream maker and churn it. That would work.

By mrhugefan [Affiliate User] 1216211942 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe reason for the sweetness is probably the canned mango pulp. Sometimes, they tend to have additional sugar. Try using less mango pulp if you are using the canned variety or try using fresh mango pulp. If you add milk, it will change the texture of the ice cream to be more solid and less creamy.
