Population Problems

  • To axeholm: ...

To axeholm: Promoting population paranoia really is unproductive. Sure, many countries are reaching the "tipping point" of converting from having many acres of land per person, towards many people per acre. I advocate such increase in overall population density, for the greater good of the many, so that all the more people may experience life.

But that means, we should welcome there to become more places with lots of people and fewer places far from lots of people. Design for population growth.

  • To axeholm: Where ...

To axeholm: Where do you get this idea that we "agree" on "Climate Change," unless you agree with me that it isn't really the problem they make it out to be? Global warming is about as weak of a theory as can be imagined. They can't prove it, they can't prove human activities are the cause, they can't prove it to be all that significant, they can't prove the effects would be dire, they can't prove we can do anything about it, so there's no reason to rush towards policy!

    I advocate "oversized."

It is refreshing to see that many more people are starting to face the problems of over population.

I think you know very well what an oversized family is. God has commanded many things, but I don't ever recall him saying destroy the world. That is precisely what we are doing.
There is nothing in all of your comments that convince me that you are right in what you say. But yes I agree with you that cimate change is a problem and one that stems from over population. On that point we do agree.

  • And what exactly, ...

And what exactly, is an "oversized" family? I think quite many parents of some of these "oversized" families would be rather inclined to disagree with you, about how many children it's proper and natural to be having.

People can go on breeding and breeding still more people, as that's what our reproductive organs are for. More and more people would be glad to come alive, and we can help them come alive by multiplying like God commanded.

Huge populations don't begat poverty, but sin/foolishness

  • I would hardly ...

I would hardly called starving masses with no sustainable agriculture elitists. If you can't feed em don't breed em. we are not talking of elitist full of stupidity, we are talking about poverty masses who are unable to feed or clothe or educate of medically care for oversized families. Geez are YOU stupid. You just can't keep breeding like you are. Even selfish unchristian people like you will come to this realization. You silly silly stupid wretch

  • To axeholm: What ...

To axeholm: What terrible thought? I try to open people's minds to some possible and pleasant possibilities.

You say I have silly ideas? As do most all humans who breed children too?

Some rich elitists are so full of their stupidity having been "educated way beyond their intelligence." I find that more poorer or working class people more readily understand what I try to say, while people full of secular "education" raise more objections.

I also find people who agree. Maybe they like to breed?

  • If India and China ...

If India and China can get to have so many people, why can't we the U.S., as well? By 2100, a billion Americans should be just the normal natural thing.

We should be a good example to a growing world of people, by growing ourselves and showing the world how it is best done.

We ought to be procreating more babies ourselves, and that could help "dillute" the influx of immigrants, and by showing more respect for the dignity of human rights and freedom, maybe that would slow the influx somewhat.

  • axeholm, who says ...

axeholm, who says we are "overpopulated?" Compared to what? The past? But human populations have been growing throughout history, nature & because they were much too small

I am part of the solution, as a huge thing people are good at, is ADAPTING.

Abraham and Lot's growing tribes, were wise in Genesis, to decide to spread farther apart to go on multiplying. But there's only but so far to spread out, before humans run into themselves again. But there's still other dimensions. Inwards & Upwards.

  • Pro, we, the human ...

Pro, we, the human race have a problem, we are over populated, and running out of commodities both finite and renewable that are needed to meet the needs of an expanding population.
If you're not part of the solution then you're part of the problem. Methinks Pronatalist you constitute part of the problem. It is however refreshing to see that many people are recognizing that over population issues need to be addressed and that many in the clergy advocate this ideal.

  • Go forth and ...

Go forth and multiply isn't some religious "conspiracy" nor merely some agenda of multinationals. It's in our genes and a natural part of nature.

I advocate natural "unbridled population growth," because the more numerous humans may naturally become, the more people there are around to benefit. Many people really do have kind and altruistic motives. All pronatalists and parents of sometimes large families, obviously aren't on some large-population agenda payroll.

    Our kids deserve kids too!

  • The biggest barrier ...

The biggest barrier to addressing the population problem are self serving hypocrites who hide behind religion. They tell you to go forth and multiply, according to God,s word. These people are generally in the pay of multi nationals and despite their religious fervor would not have a christian bone in their body. The sad fact is that unless the issue of unbridalled population growth is addressed in an intelligent manner little will be left for future generations to look forward to.

  • And the biggest ...

And the biggest population "problem" is all the anti-family nonsense about denying people their children.

What for to have bigger nicer housing, but for large and growing families?

What's the use of improving benefits and society and what all, if there can't be more people around to enjoy it all? Why scheme to rob people of their children, and then replace their children with pidly little stupid socialistic trinkets?

"Free" education and medical care, isn't "free," somebody pays for it all.

Yes we'll have some of the same problems whether we are on one planet or 5000 planets. Does that make it wrong to expand?

There will always be plenty of problems out there to solve, I'm just saying that the size of our population doesn't need to be one of them.

  • Well....People who ...

Well....People who got AIDS since their parents gave it to them deserve help, but Adults who got it from sexual intercourse should not because it's their fault they got it in the first place. It's more of a payback disease. Leave hospitals for serious and hardworking humanity-contributing controlled people, but don't let others in. Research cures for diseases by victims who unfairly got it...Or just make the reproductive process fatal..

Heaven forbid you are forcing people to keep their Chastity, are you nuts?! You are not letting people leave their urges go answered. (FYI this is sarcastic)

  • We don't need huge ...

We don't need huge space ships to start it off... Eventually companies could build them once it is possible to make a profit from it. The Europeans did the same thing crossing the Atlantic...

Terraforming will basically work like global warming on other planets, a slow but steady byproduct of Human existence...

  • Buddy, Do you ...

Buddy, Do you honestly think that we can build huge spaceships to transfer alot of people on it into other planets and live there easily? There is a thing called terra forming, which is a long process..Humanity cannot sustain itself like this.
