  • The cuban ...

The cuban revolution was Communist of course : read Castro's and Guevara's comments. Concerning the nuclear weapons crisis of 1962, you call that a "GAME" ??? That was not a game, Doyona, Castro played with fire, and you seem not to know very well what kind of fire it was. Perhaps you do not care about the kind of war it could have led to. Kennedy then did not play the "game" but he showed a moral strength, with the support of all the free world behind him. That's what the soviets and Castro got

Ils ont opté pour «the American way of life».

  • In fact, he was ...

In fact, he was blinded by his ideals (just like Robespierre during the french revolution (1789-1800). He had no problem killing people.

In my view, political violence is propper to those who want political changes during their lifetime!!!

Major political changes take lots of time, often generations, 'cause mentalitys (religions and beliefs) are very long to change!

If you force it, you are anti democratic. IT'S WATH IS HAPPENING IN MIDDLE EAST RIGHT NOW!!!

  • Yeah of course! ...

Yeah of course! First thing to know is that this cuban revolution was a nationalist revolution, not a communist one.

After the bay of pigs attempt, Cubans felt insecure and Krouchtchov needed a good card to play his game: Cuba and Che's idea to get nuclear power to affraid USA was the hell of an idea!

    Here see socialism

Clearely, in this case, Kennedy lost the game. And he made sure Americans would'nt know about Turkey US missiles by asking to dismentle them 6 months after the Soviets.

  • Krouchtchov used ...

Krouchtchov used Cuba to enoy USA VS it's big stick policy. Plus, USSR obtained the US military non intervention on Cuba And the removal of the US missiles in Turkey.

Of course, USSR represented a place for cuban exports. This exchange answered to the US economic embargo wich diprived Cubans from 75%of all their exports = US economic penetration during the Batista regime).

When Krouchtchov was forced to resign Cuba was on it's own again. So, your pretentions do not reflect the reality.

  • yea, Che was a ...

yea, Che was a power hungry murderer who didn't think things out. I suppose he had good intentions in wanting to rid the world of oppressive people, but in reality, he was more repressive than anything around. He wanted people to have NO FREEDOM, not much different than a facist dictator. He didn't help anybody, when will end?

  • Latin America for ...

Latin America for centuries was robbed and exploited for its rich resources of coffee, oil, sugar, fruit and vast lands for cattle farming by US multi-national coporations. Together with Fidel, Che's revolution threw out the Americans and gave Cuba free healthcare, education and a stake in country's resources. The emergence of socialist governments across Latin America (e.g Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay ) is largely due to Che as more and more people now realize the value of collective ownership.

I would love to know what your writting. I don't know French unfortunately. Blemoir, you have to feel very touchy about this issue. You as well as many of us witnessed, what the Guerrilla has done to many people in the past and present. Is that the type of guerrilla che wanted?

  • Guys thank you very ...

Guys thank you very much for giving me your points of view with out getting frustated, or offensive, towards me. I happen to have this gutt feeling, that will continue making me skeptical. Perhaps until there is proof, not by 'eye witnesses' but in terms of footage, or documents signed by him. We really don't know what was truly in his mind. This is other than his books, and video footage. I think also that his looks help him in terms of female followers. Any girls here?

Ok: first I hope you will soon get better, friend. The amount of followers Guevara has is not that high, anyway truth is not a matter of number but a matter of facts. If Guevara had really wanted to help the poor world, he should have finished his studies to become a doctor, not a murderer.

  • If we were in court ...

If we were in court, and the victims had to show evidence that Che was a blood thirsty killer, i wonder if there would be any. All the footage there is show him as an educated, concernd individual. I have yet to see footage, that show him perpetrating, what people here are claiming. I dont know its just a very interesting subject. Specially when you c so many followers. It just makes me think that it may be propaganda. But I come from a family of women only, and that wasnt a conversation subject

  • Other than that, ...

Other than that, I'm pretty mucoh clueless. However this is a very interesting subject. When I first looked up che in youtube, I was taken back by the amount of followers he has. Im fully aware of how insulting and offensive this is to many of us as well. I keep going into diffent blogs, and find people that either agree or disagree. Thus it makes it very difficult for me, to hate the guy. Could it be that Che is guilty by association. I know im very stubborn. Sorry

  • Hello! In reality, ...

Hello! In reality, I have just began reading about Che Guevara recently. About 2 months ago. But with my obsessive nature. This is just about all I do, research. Like I told another youtube member. I have being home for the past couple of months due to an motorvehicle accident i had. I have tons of time and little to do. I can't really do much because i sort of hurt my spine, and I cant lift anything or move much. So for the past 2 months I've being watching documentaries, and reading
