(Apparently, she couldn't feel anything.) Third, the girl says she feels there is not enough proof for Rook's existence. (Again, she couldn't feel anything.) Fourth, the girl gives Rook money for a second chance.

This reminds me of how I went around denying the existence of sexual intercourse when I was a freshman and sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis in 1978-79. I had never done it, so I had no reason to believe that it could possibly happen.
