Wheat is the grain on which Western civilization was built. It's been used for thousands of years as the foundation of our diet. But 1 out of 100 Americans has a condition called celiac disease, which is an intolerance to wheat, barley and rye. Its symptoms can be subtle, but if you don't stick to a gluten-free diet you could be damaging your body and not even know it. More from Mayo Clinic.

I hate it and miss it. lol. But more importantly people should know that many people with Celiacs also have problems with Casien. A milk protein. A separate issue than lactose intolerance. And people who are having frequent gas should look into probiotics. Often through poor diets or medications like antibiotics we kill the good flora that help us digest. If probiotics don't help than deff look into the possibility of a gluten intolerance.

  • Well, you could ...

Well, you could have it checked out and spend an extra five minutes reading a short list of ingredients, or you could go with the possibility of having Celiac disease and if you do have it, starve to death or end up with colon cancer. :) Your choice.

I lost 2 pounds in a week and started getting severe diarrhea daily at set times. I learned it was linked to when I ate and I got my blood tests today indicating I have 19 counts of Celiac, whereas the limit to be healthy is 17. All that on top of lactose intolerance.
