How to make a pizza, including the dough and the sauce.

NOTE: 240 degrees C = roughly 450 degrees F
I originally made this video for Japanese students studying English, and this explains why subtitles appear at certain times but not others.
No measurements are exact. I wing things and I recommend experimenting. I am not an expert cook and pizza is one of the few things that I believe I can make decently. Basically, I got bored one day, googled "how to make pizza," read a few different recipes, and combined the various aspects that I liked and that seemed easy.
Ingredients (approx. measurements):
Dough:
4-5 cups flour
1 tablespoon yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 cup water
sauce:
1 can diced tomatoes + 1 sliced up tomato*
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
4-5 garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
chili pepper optional
*actually I usually just use two cans of diced tomatoes, but when I made this video I only had one... but it worked because usually I have too much sauce and the fresh tomato added... freshness.
Good Job!

Also if you don't like the taste or texture of the tomato skin (it doesn't technically add flavor so most chefs remove it) you can remove it. Cut an X in the tomato and submerge it in boiling water for about 10 seconds. Take it out and immediately into a bowl of iced water (this is called blanching). That stops the cooking (retains the color of the vegetable) and makes peeling the skin (from the X) really easy. Hope those tips helped!

Sauteing them brings out the natural oils inside, cooks off the harsh chemical bite and will infuse better in the sauce. If you cook them in the sauce technically you are poaching them and a lot of the flavor stays trapped inside. In oil over med. saute onion 2/3 min and garlic 1 min. We usually add chili flakes here too, then add sauce
