Yes, this is a very ghetto, but it works well, and it's easy and best of all free.

Without a doubt, if you play Rock Band on the drums, the drum pedal will break eventually. It doesn't matter if you don't hit the pedal hard, it will crack in half just from regular use due to it's design.

Just follow the steps in the video to fix your broken-in-half drum pedal. Obviously this will work with both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. This is an easy and free way to fix your pedal. All you will need is the pedal itself, 2 butterknives, some gaffers tape and scissors.

    this looks like a really good way to fix your pedal but unfortunately mine broke at the bottom so i wasnt able to put knives in =(
    i have to tape the bottom and re-tape every few weeks

    Ready to hear something sad? I tried doing something very VERY similar to this and my pedal broke again anyway. So I got it replaced and the same thing happened again... Did the same thing it ended up breaking again anyway. Sad, no?

    Lucky u have the easy fix, my pedal broke 1 to 2 inches above where it connect to the base. I fixed UBER ghetto with a small block of wood to support it on top lol lol i broke it after 6 months so imma go to Best Buy or Circuit City 2 get a new one. (support said they have individual pedals there)

    it took mine a few months and a fat friend to abuse the hell out of it for it to break, when it did it broke across the orange line part. I just cut out a piece of wood in the shape of the foot pedal and krazy glued it over it. It's been working fine and doesn't look like it will crap out anytime soon.
