I did it this year, thankfully none of our bulls turned around like this one, bullfighting is a cruel dago pastime but this is a more even contest. Fighting bull against hungover English/Aussies, worth doing I would say

Amazing that the Haj Pilgrimmage is 100 times more deadly.

This has to be the craziest tradition ever. I can just picture it, running for your life with a thousand other people all of whom are probably just about ready to crap in their pants. I can see the hilarity of the situation... a dog running after you is bad enough but bulls? Hahahaha! The guy who cooked up this tradition must have been on drugs or whatever it was they took to get high back in the day.

CandelarioGaven, I really dont think that bullfighting or running of the bulls has much to do with bravery but more to do with animal cruelty. I heard that the bull is weakened and dehydrated before the matador enters the ring. The matador has knives and spears and whatever and the bull has no weapons. Its just cowardly and cruel. Thats all!

I would like someone to replace the 10 bulls selected with a herd of a thousand wild buffalo.

i ran on the 8th also it was a pretty intense day. the guy in the green who gets pinned up against the fence by the bull is a friend of mine that ran with me. it was definately a big rush.
