I never denied that he did rotten things. That's what makes him the greatest supervillain. He accomplishes so much (setting up 33.1 facilites, discovering Clark's identity, becoming head of Luthorcorp, becoming President of the United States, eventually releasing Doomsday who kills Superman, destroying, rebuilding and ruling the world) without any powers, just a godly intellect and pretty much unlimited resources.

he's a good villain and a smart one too i won't deny that but he has done some rotten things.

Lex IS a bastard, but he's a genius of a bastard. He's so smart in Smallville, but he hasn't come anywhere NEAR his intellectual potential (which is genius level, scientifically and financially). Whereas Oliver is just a rich boy because he inherited his parents's company, Lex dethroned his father and took control of Luthorcorp.
