    i use potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and magnalium (MgAl), 1/10 of a gram detonates and makes a loud crack unconfined in a 70-30 mix. it is one of the more danjorous mixtures out there, i do not recomend adding sulfur, makes it way way way too unpredictable....

    Hi guys i havve just bought 400mesh aluminium powder and i did try this method and 70/30 kno3 aluminium and i have also tried with amounium nitrat. but wen i did light it just did make some small balls like the alu melted and nothing hapend. but wen i di try with germany aluminium powder it works great. so my question is is the first alu to big size becuse i dosent hapen anythin plz help me dont have any german aluminium left

    KNO3 epic weak use barium nitrate it has around 40% less oxygen but it donates it so much more easily... burns with sulfur alone pretty fast, with aluminum the stuff is crazy.
