But Merc has bi-turbo 6.0 liter engine, M5 after Kelleners tuned up has only 56 Nm more, 55HP more at 5500 rpm nad 45HP more at top, without turbo. For me, M5's engine is great science it can compete with much bigger engines with turbo.

That is definetly a point. It carries more luxury and have better comfort than the BMW M5.

Sorry. Even thought I love the M5, its still the S65 AMG for me. Its more luxurious and its still fast.

the mercedes is original and not tuned, however the m5 is tuned 'big time'in addition to the weight, the merc is much more heavy than the m5

It is very fast, it can take on a biturbo V12 that is very impressive. A Kelleners M5 and M6 is close to 599 performance.

i did checked out the M5's mods:
camshafts, exhausts, Supersprint headers and ECU-tuning and about a total of 560 -- 570 hp.

i believe there is another either m5 or m6 with these same mods that walked a Z06 to 180ish in the states. there is a video somewhere on youtube.

impressive how fast the M5 in this video is with mods and the wonderful smg gearing.

Folding the mirrors was smart, unfortunately folding the BWM M5 mirrors will get them to point upwards with an even larger frontal area :(

after the 1st gear change in the video the tuned M5 did nothing but fetch the S65 and then proceed to pass it. several people keep saying the AMG raped... silly rabbits, you have to watch the race to the end :P

WWRONG! It is a S65 AMG V12 Biturbo.

The S65 AMG is heavy but it has 612 HP and 1000 Nm of torque. So we needed to match it with a tuned BMW M5, which went good.

Also, the S65 AMG driver folded his mirrors during the race.

Looks like the AMG driver though the race was over...then reaccelerated after he won the race...sadly there is no FINISH line nor marker and the Mercedes Benz cleraly won

Hell ya, 1st of all this guys is comparing an OLD Mercedes AMG 55 not a 65 to a NEW BMW M5....I pretty sure the Benz owner doesnt regular tune his ride, if ever since he got the car from M.B. AMG. Sometimes that would help in such a close race like this one. Plus
the S 55 weights around 1,200-1,500 lbs more pounds than the M5...so the S55 is in a luxury sedan class racing a 4 door sports sedan...big difference in weight. The Mercedes Benz is all ENGINE and TRUE preformance
