That is awesome! I am glad it brings light to people who may have good intentions, but who really don't want to do the work required to make a difference. They just want to join up and follow. The "show me the way and I can say that I made a difference" people. Don't follow, lead. Oh, and don't lead unless you have done your own research.

Solar and wind produce no hydrogen but yeah water vapor is a greenhouse gas. I've heard though that some people are looking to turn a type of weed (not marijuana but just a type of grass) into fuel. I wonder how they'll do.

But that's the point, lay out the heavy BS, twist the facts enough so that they're still true but misleading and people who don't question your cause will fall for anything.

That's pretty much the message of the show is to question any political agenda (they were picking on environementalists because the environment emitts an emotional response in a lot of people).

While this is entertaining, I believe it reinforces the uninformed right's fears of commiting to any kind of change. Its the perfect way for them to stereotype supporters of the environment as "people just looking to sign up". And while this may be true to some degree, it certainly is not the case for the majority, just as the paralells one can draw between this social experiment and the right's fundamentalist movement only hold true for the minority.

Explains much. We all do this sometimes ... It helps explain why people can be easily herded toward any goal. Global Warming in my opinion is an example since the propaganda used is highly emotional with equal or more evidence that warming is primarily geo-solar and not much by human activity. The goal? Social and Economic Restructuring of World Order and human population control with a large dose of high profit gains for those early investors in subsidized new technologies.
