Here's a CSX joining the northbound main heading toward Atlanta, Ga. This was my first time ever seeing a "pumpkin bonnet" first hand & the blue bonnet SantaFe was a great find. The line the train is coming off of is the main from La Grange to Birmingham, Al. There was a hobo on this train about 30 or so cars in but I was zoomed in too far for the camera to see him. We both exchanged waves as he got his "free ride".

Enjoy!

  • No I don't. When I ...

No I don't. When I got to the location, the train was already stopped waiting for a fresh crew. I wouldn't guess too long though. The train flow is fairly heavy around La Grange so I wouldn't think they would hold up the siding for too long.

When I was up there two weeks ago, the same situation happened, only the taxi was waiting on the train to arrive. A second taxi arrived with a fresh crew within ten minutes.

I seen this video along with your other one where the fresh CSX crew comes aboard an takes but was wondering, do you know how long that CSX sat there before the fresh crew came on?

Oh for sure, it's always neat when I see a NS or CSX unit going through Spokane.

  • Nope, not the ...

Nope, not the uploader, just the transfer "digitising" program.

Unfortunatly the camera that I have loaned to me is a HI8 nondigital camera. This forces me to send it through a transfer program that digitises the video in order for me to get it on youtube.

Hopefully Santa will be good to me this year so I won't have this trouble anymore.

Nice catch on that Ex ATSF SD40-2, was there trouble with the uploader because your video is a bit jumpy at the beginning then goes back to normal, good catch though!
