Three red lights flash on the Ring of Light a.k.a. The Three Red Ring of Death.

You can see my xbox from the Red-Rings then to Normal then back to Red-Rings. :)

Its so sad that my xbox360 died but the good news is its still under warranty and Microsoft is taking care of everything for free (Shipping and Repair).

A few question I have to answer:

What are those things under the 360? Its just rubber stops I took of under the feet an electric fan to elevate the 360 for more heat dissipation.

What are the signs of a 360 failing? Just before I got this 3-red-light, my game would freeze at random times, happening more frequently the more I use it. Then eventually lead to this, where I could just turn it on-off and randomly get the red-ring.

Update, since May '07? I called Microsoft, they sent a box, mailed it, got it back, never got the red-ring ever since. Happy Ending, Hope it doesn't happen again.

    You should probably wait atleast 2 mins. before turning the 360 back on, in devices such as videogame systems, computers, and laptops, there is a main electronic flow, when you turn it off and turn it back on to quickly it can permanently destroy that flow, therefore it would be better if you wait about 2 mins. before turning your device back on after turning it off. I do that with my 360 & it only breaks down about every 3-6 months. Oh and yeah, I have the same TV as you =D that makes us family

    Xbox 360 has a majority of multi platform games anyway. The only thing that GSG510 has on it is that it does fail too much for its own good.
