    RC: it probably was a cold... but it is very possible that the stress had lowered your immune system's abilities.

    We're exposed to all kinds of "cold" and "flu" germs all the time, especially as winter approaches....

    I put stress management, stress reduction and coping skills right up there with flu shots and handwashing as effective preventative measures.
