It was only on October 1, after the police visited Makkeri family in Juhu JVPD Scheme late night to inform that their son has died in Kerala boat tragedy, members of the family came to know that their missing son Anand Gurunath Makkeri (26) have died last Wednesday
Out of four friends Amol Tamhane, Prasad Shetty, Amit Firke and Anand Makkeri, Anand could not return from Kerala who went for picnic with his friends on 25 September and was supposed to come back on 4 October. An ambitious MBA holder and a salesmanager with ACL wireless company, Anand was also supposed to get married on 2 December.
