Jet Airways Maiden Flight Into San Francisco

Jet Airways became the first India-based airlines to fly out of San Francisco to India. On June 14th, 2008 a little bit of aviation history was created around 8.30 pm PST when Jet Airways first flight from Mumbai to San Francsico landed at SFO. Jet also is the first Indian airlines to fly the Pacific route to India and the second airlines to fly into Shanghai.

Jet will have daily flights from SFO to Mumbai via Shanghai.

Jet Airways was founded by Naresh Goyal and within a short span of 15 years he has spearheaded the phenomenal growth of his domestic airlines into an International one. For instance, within a short span of one year Jet has opened four stations in North America: San Francisco, Toronot, Newark and New York.
