He has his own Record label tied up with Reprise and Warner Music.He and his wife put up the David Foster Foundation that caters to the needs and well-being of children all over the world. That explains his fondness for Charice.. a very inspiring kid and good role model for lowly kids but with big dreams to succeed above life's adversities..

Charice's dad abandoned them when she was just 3 yrs old so I see nothing wrong if she sees a father figure in Mr. David Foster. I'm sure that Charice has her mother and other people that look after her finances.

To those making comments about Charice's height -- the fact is that she's Asian and she is small, and contrast that to her powerful voice -- makes her unique and adds to people's awe and their fascination about her here in the United States. She's perfect the way she is.

I have the same concern. It doesn't sound right when Charice calls 'dad' to Mr. Foster from people's perspective other than Filipinos when the relationship between the two is purely business. There are countless lawsuits involving even popular artists and managers in America especially regarding the share of profits and income from their work. Perhaps, Charice should be aware of this relationship every time she performs.
