i may have blown that part out of proportion,
but in all fairness, Marine Recon will not hesitate to kill, and if they do, it is already expected that they would.
SEALs try to avoid killing if they have too, but their main priority is to do thier mission without being detected, and to keep a low body count
but, either way, they are both trained to do their jobs and they are damn good at it
And still, like i said, i cant wait to be a Marine. talking with recruiters.

Actually, Marine Force Recon's mission isnt to klll everyone. There is a saying in the Marine Corps, "A good recon mission is a mission where not a single round is fired."

The Marines have Force and BN Recon, which is similar to the Navy Seals. they have similar training and schools, but the Seals collect intel and do more top secret missions. the Marine Recon goes to a place, kills everyone there, then tells their CO its good to move in

You can't forget Marine Force Recon and MAGTF.

Marines get their own basic training and then training for their MOS. Not to mention that every Marine(infantry or not) goes to the school of infantry. So yeah, thay don't have 1 school specifically designed for them, it's actually 2 and then MOS training.

Marines are a branch of infantry under the navy. Rangers are a specialized group of soldiers designed for greater tasks and missions. Look up the ranger school drop out rate, its no joke. Marines are tought and all but they dont have a school specifically designed for them. They are just badass infantry.
