Indonesian Tsunami Satellite Images.

NASA has revealed that the Indonesian tsunami was not caused directly by the localised sea floor uplift of a fault adjacent to Indonesia as was first thought although this did contribute a localised effect in Indonesia. Rather it was the elastic uplift of the sea floor in the indian ocean (a trampoline effect) which caused the tsunami which subsequently spread around the rim of the Indian ocean. The uplift of the fault in the ocean was caused as a secondary effect of the more generalised uplift of the sea floor. This suggests that there might have been 2 tidal waves. One associated with the trampoline effect and another due to the secondary fault uplift.......................................NASA a révélé que le tsunami indonésien n'a pas été causé directly par l'amélioration de plancher de mer de localised d'un défaut adjacent à Indonésie comme a été pensé premièrement bien que ceci a contribué un effet localisé dans Indonésie. Plutôt c'était l'amélioration élastique du plancher de mer dans l'océan indien (un effet de trampoline) qui a causé le tsunami qui s'est étalé par la suite autour du bord de l'océan indien. L'amélioration du défaut dans l'océan a été causée comme un effet secondaire de l'amélioration plus généralisée du plancher de mer. Ceci suggère qu'il pourrait y avoir eu 2 vagues de marée.
