I'm sure you heard me talk about having this beer on tap at Mahar's and that it really impressed me on the latest "Beyond The Pour" podcast, right? No, well go here to download and listen to it: http://www.buzzsprout.com/5425/53486-beyond-the-pour-episode-10-the-homebrew-episode.mp3
Since I liked it so much on draught I decided to pick up a bottle to see how it compares. The only problem was the bottle was either four months old or four months past its prime. X(
Season 18, Episode 19
Is there anything more iconic of the lush tropics than the coconut? The delicious heart of this island treasure has a nutty, toffee flavor and aroma that sends you straight to the beaches of Paradise. Kick back with a Koko Brown, brewed with real toasted coconut, and savor the mahogany color and smooth, roasty malt taste.
Koko Brown pairs well with coconut and caramel flavors, such as Thai curries, BBQ meats and carne asada. Its refreshing nutty aroma makes for the perfect beer after a day on the water.
