Its the exact same as what you see here, though the weapons used (25, 40, and 105mm cannons) may not be categorically accurate. The game is out on the Ps3, 360, and PC. Though since you said this 5 months ago, its probable you've already heard of it.

This is also Close Air Support. If the infantry are coming, then the Artillery and Mortars have already been firing, and I can bet other airstrikes were called in too. What makes you think that civilians would still be in the bombing area when a battalion is charging their doorstep?

The detail (Despite what YouTube's crap video quality shows) is rather impressive, and a woman or child is easily distinguishable. A child wouldnt have the chance to be under ruins if you dont fire on them in the first place. Before even opening fire, the crew of the gunship needs to get clearance. The person in charge operates under the international laws set forth by the U.N., and I doubt he would get permission to fire on innocent civilians.

The AC-130 Spectre Gunship uses Infra Red to find and track targets. It has two modes, White Hot (Where white represents heat) and Black Hot (Where black represents heat). The degree of black and white in both modes shows how hot an object, landscape, or person is. A person will be almost pure white or black (Depending on the mode) with the exception of the clothing. The surrounding area is mostly grey.
