                            Why are you all comparing two different sports? Cricket is a game that lasts a long time (3+ hrs/inning in the one-day game, and 8+hrs daily in a 5-day match). It requires a broader set of skills to play and there are a lot more options. Baseball on the other hand is a much shorter sport and it's sheer entertainment packed into 2hrs. You get to see pitchers strike batsmen out, batsmen hit homeruns, all the beautiful catches all in a couple of hrs and you can go back to your daily routine.

                                        Dude 70mph in cricket is slow, a fast bowler will bowl over 90mph. 30 yards is a baseball mount, a cricket wicket is 24 yards, so its closer aswell. In cricket you have to get your body behind the ball, in baseball you are to the side. the fielders in cricket are so much better than baseball fielders. trust me I live in MIA and play baseball everyday but cricket is something else!!!
