When Millennium Force opened in 2000, it was the highest fastest coaster in the world. Standing 310ft high and reaching speeds of 93mph. The ride actually enters its brake run at the end of the coaster at 65mph which is faster than many coasters top speed !! Millennium Force broke 10 world records when it first opened, and even though some of these have now been broken again (by Cedar Point) Millennium Force is still regarded as the greatest steel rollercoaster in the world by many people.     From the awesome first drop, to the overbanked turns to the floater air and just the sheer speed...Millennium Force IS the best coaster on the planet. Never felt freer on a coaster. S**ks that I have to wait 6 months to get back on it.
