    Yea, these people are more like "oh yea, I'm a rock poser and I only know Slash and Jimy Hendrix so they GOTTA be the best". They obvously don't know the likes of Petrucci. But hey, Slash is really, really good too. His solos just... how can I say... have, ya know, "more feeling". To me at least. Petrucci, Satriani and Vai kill him as ability on the instrument though.
