Nissan GT-R Engine Assembly

This engine has nothing to do with Renault, I don't see any French people building this car. They have nothing to do with the VHR or VR38DETT, nor the new VH37's. They only built the early VQ's. I guess they did provide the basic foundation, but this one and the newer model Z and G's are all Nissan.

i was wondering the same thing? I was thinking at first when that technician was dropping the head bolts in and running them in with the gun that he was jus zipping them down and then was gonna torque them in a pattern, but it seems thats all they got was a zip down lol

i enjoy the gtr as much as the next guy(or girl) but i think that they should come out with the s16 or something idk i just throwing out ideas it seams that it would be less expensive but im not int the automotive industry....yet

how much will the new GTR cost? in Yen, dollars anything?

completely assemble the engine, takes 100 minutes. thats fast even for a master.

I have always had the upmost respect for Japanese car builders (in particular Nissan) quality, power and balls out agression are always essential ingredients in Nissans sports cars. I have owned a 200sx touring for seven years now and in that time and through 105000 miles not a F**king thing has gone wrong with it and it still goes F**k !! automotive mastery to the highest degree (well thats just my opinion)

no torque(for nuts and bolts) specifications...

It allows us to put more weight behind the front axle, this is the way we achieve our "mid-ship" platform designs. So better balance comment is accurate.

An inline 6 can't fit under the new loping hoods.....thats why they used a V6, because it is more compact and provides better balance.

hyundai can only dream of having a VQ in their cars.

omg have seen it in person?? I saw it wow i'm in love. beside all the good stuff like performance quality and style. I love that is not tiny little sport car this thing is big true sport car I just love every line and angel of it. beats every sport car out there with double and triple the price

I dont care what anybody says but the nissan gt-r is a piece of artwork. It looks amazing and its the same performance wise. No doubt about it!!!

The engine found in the GT-R is not being sold to Hyundai, nor used in any of their vehicles.
