Lamplight City is a detective adventure set in an alternate steampunk-ish "Victorian" past. The thriving port city of New Bretagne is a beacon of progress and industrial advancement in the New World. Yet beneath the promises of a shining 19th-century future, the city rests upon foundations of poverty, class struggle, and crime. Can private investigator Miles Fordham find justice for his clients and track down his partner's killer? Francisco Gonzalez has been making adventure games using Adventure Game Studio since 2001. After releasing the final case in the 8-part Ben Jordan series in 2012, he decided to take the plunge and begin making games professionally. His first game, A Golden Wake, was published in 2014 by Wadjet Eye Games. He made his second game, Shardlight, while working in-house at Wadjet Eye as as a full-time developer. In 2018, he released Lamplight City, published by Application Systems Heidelberg. Francisco grew up playing classic adventure games from studios such as Sierra, LucasArts, and Revolution. Among his favorites are Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, The Curse of Monkey Island, Quest for Glory IV, Day of the Tentacle, and Conquests of the Longbow.

Having won the prestigious Best Racing Game at the gamescom Awards 2019, GRID gives players choice and accessibility allowing them to play their way with a superior handling model that caters to both sim players who want a fun experience and casual fans looking for a challenging racing game. From lights out, players will experience the true drama of motorsport. GRID isn’t about a procession of cars; with 400 AI personalities ranging from calm to aggressive, drivers stray from the racing line to prevent opponents from passing, or they might brake late and do whatever is necessary to remain ahead of the pack. GRID features 104 career events across 12 race locations, the best drivers including Fernando Alonso and his esports team, FA Racing Logitech G, and the return of the revered Ravenwest Motorsport. “As a team, we are incredibly proud of the game we have made and excited that players around the world can finally get their hands on it,” said Chris Smith, GRID Game Director at Codemasters. “We set out with three goals; make a game that puts the player in control and allows them to play their way. For the game to feel alive and celebrate the drama of motorsport. Lastly, make a game that is for everyone; to have the best handling which appeals to both core racing fans and casual players. We have put all of this into GRID and we look forward to hearing feedback from our players.”

The Addams Family Mystery Mansion is based on the highly anticipated animated movie, The Addams Family, from Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), which opens in theaters worldwide on October 11, 2019. In the game, Morticia and Gomez return to their Mansion after a second honeymoon, determined to start afresh. They need the player’s help to reunite the rest of the family and refurnish their home. Through fun chapters and missions driven by the game’s original story and witty dialog, players will collect favorite characters from the movie and expand their catalogue of spooky furniture and decorations. As seen in the game’s launch trailer released today by Pixowl, the game’s narrative is driven by the signature dark humor for which The Addams Family is known. A close and loving clan, they love nothing better than enjoying a family dinner of newt stew or cultivating hobbies such as growing carnivorous plants or collecting torture devices. “Just in time for Halloween, The Addams Family Mystery Mansion offers players a gruesomely fun building game that’s simultaneously macabre and filled with warmth,” said Arthur Madrid, CEO and co-founder of Pixowl. “The Addams Family is part of our culture and players will have a spooky time with Morticia, Gomez, and the rest of the clan.” The quality and depth of The Addams Family Mystery Mansion is enriched by the expertise of Pixowl and Animoca Brands. Animoca Brands, one of the leading mobile game developers in Asia, is a PocketGamer Top 50 Global Developer and has a large portfolio of branded IP. Its subsidiary, Pixowl, has produced games for seven major IPs with long lifespans and over 350,000 daily active players. Cosmo Express, as the name suggests, is a game set in space, aboard a very strange train. On Cosmo Express you will need to escort a VIP - a bratty alien queen - all while also taking care of a mysterious thief that sneaked onto the train. Meanwhile, you will engage conversations with snake people from distant planets, quirky robots and so on. The game, which takes place in retro-styled train coaches, will see the player navigating from seat to seat, gathering clues and expanding their knowledge of the lore, but expect many surprises from an action and gameplay standpoint.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection is far from a typical console generation port. In addition to graphical and performance upgrades (720p>1080p at 30>60fps), all three games have gone through a rigorous re-localization process. The English scripts for each game have been reviewed, revised, and even rewritten in some cases, and content previously cut from the Western releases of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 have been re-added in The Yakuza Remastered Collection. In Yakuza 3, this means the Mahjong, Shogi, Hanafuda, Massage Parlor, and ever-popular Cabaret minigames, as well as a collection of Substories cut from the original release, are now available for the first time! Several quality-of-life changes have also been added for each release in the collection, including a Substory tracker on the map and the ability to toggle between English and Japanese written lyrics during the Karaoke minigame.

Last Christmas is a 2019 romantic comedy film directed by Paul Feig and written by Bryony Kimmings and Emma Thompson, who co-wrote the story with her husband, Greg Wise. Based on the song of the same name, and inspired by the music of George Michael, the film stars Emilia Clarke as a disillusioned Christmas store worker who forms a relationship with a mysterious man (Henry Golding) and begins to fall for him; Thompson and Michelle Yeoh also star. Last Christmas was theatrically released in the United States on 8 November 2019 and in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2019 by Universal Pictures. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances and chemistry of Clarke and Golding but criticized the screenplay, clichés, and plot twist. The film was also a moderate box office success, grossing $100 million worldwide.
