Combining smart features and a highly breathable and weather resistant fabric, the Arc'teryx Women's Trident jacket is perfectly suited for high exertion snowsports. The athletic fit and no-lift gusseted underarms allow for freedom of motion, while the trademark Arc'teryx attention to detail gives the Trident jacket tremendous street appeal. Wear it as a second layer in cold or wet weather or as an outer shell when engaged in vigorous activity in milder conditions. Conduit Softshell on the outside with taped seams for serious weatherproofing, PimpChimp fleece on the inside for warmth and unbeatable comfort. At home climbing peaks or carving turns. Love it! This jacket has a great style and fit with a little stretch. It's one of the simplest and cleanest designs I have come across. It hasn't rained since I've owned it, however, it has good wind protection and keeps me warm but not too warm while the temps have been in the high 40's and 50's here in Chicago. The more she wears it , the more she loves it. This jacket does everything well. Wind, water, and the cold...did I mention the fashion police approve as well. This softshell is unlike other softshells I have seen because it has a soft warm fleecy inside. Feels great against your skin. I ordered the black and I like it because it is all black including collar. I ordered a medium which runs true to size but has a little room for layering. Big plus sleeves are nice and long.
