Surprisingly High level radiation from Vintage Soviet / USSR Night Scope but only when it is switched on. It operates with a small battery and is scanned using a sensitive GammaRae Scintillating Radiation Detector. The radiation levels from this nightscope may be gamma but could also be xray, So if you could enlighten us please do. More on this Radiation detector can be seen in my other video's showing radioactive watch dial readings from a vintage Mervin Military watch and a gas lamp mantle. Thank you for watching and please feel free to comment

What You Need: 2 litres of water 2 kilos of granulated sugar, large saucepan and supervision is a must because boiling anything on a cooker is dangerous and boiling syrup will cause severe burns if it comes in contact with the skin. Scale down to 1 k of sugar and 1 litre of water in a smaller pan. Add water and all of the sugar to the saucepan and begin to heat it. Observe closely how the denser fluid at the bottom of the pan behaves as the heat begins to motivate the syrup. At the same time observe the vapour bubbles and the rapidly agitating syrup below the surface. Adding heat to the water and sugar crystals accelerates the dissolving of the sugar creating a very dense solution. The surface of the syrup does not boil, yet below the surface about half way down the saucepan is clearly boiling and if you look very close you can see lots of large and small gas bubbles forming and rising as you would expect them to do. However if you study what is happening you will see that the surface of the syrup remains unbroken and shows little if any motion while below the surface it is completely different and actively bubbling and boiling. So what do you think is happening? I suspect that a flow and return circulation is operating in the lower active level of the syrup where the heat is causing the fluid to form gas and rise but in doing so is generating a return flow from the cooler water causing the rotation of the syrup rather than it reaching the surface and disrupting the stagnant state. The dense syrup is acted upon by gravity and the heat at the base of the pan changes the density of the syrup causing it to rise, where it meets the lower part of the cooler surface less dense syrup and returns back to the base of the pan taking with it the vapour bubbles and preventing them from reaching the surface of the liquid. Before all of the sugar has turned into clear liquid stir the solution with a wooden spoon and let it return back to the un-agitated state and you should see the lower level behave as before and the surface layer remain once again still. Eventually the surface syrup heats up and the liquid boils as one would expect a liquid to boil. Yet when another Kilo of sugar is added to the now boiling syrup the same low surface flow happens again and the surface of the liquid stagnates until all the sugar has dissolved and the liquid is boiling in the normal manor. This is a fascinating experiment that requires supervision as boiling syrup is very dangerous. The sugar looks like clouds viewed from an aircraft for a while. What does it tell us? Having been working on a density flow theory in plants, trees, animals and humans that generates circulation by density changes occurring in the fluids due to evaporation, the boiling syrup experiment shows how powerful this gravity driven flow really is. It also shows how density changes at the surface of the ocean due to evaporation and the resulting increases in density of surface water generate an underwater river that drives the Atlantic Conveyor system, a river thought to be larger than all of the combined rivers in the world that powers the world's weather. But does it also tell us something about the nature of gravity?

Flight to Majorca from the U.K. reveals increased risk of radiation using a scintillating GammaRae Pager detector. Normal Background Radiation at Ground Level is 3 counts per second, increasing as the aircraft climbs to 15 counts per second with peaks measured at 17 counts per second. While this poses little if any problems to a passenger going on holiday two or three times a year, it inevitably increases the risk of cancer to those working on regular flights. BBC News: Tuesday, June 29, 1999 Published at 00:31 GMT 01:31 UK Nine studies in North America and Europe have shown increased rates of cancer among those who work in aeroplanes. Pilots are more likely to get colon, rectal, prostate and brain cancers, while flight attendants are twice as likely to suffer breast cancer. Aircrew members who are pregnant could also be putting their unborn children at risk of diseases such as Down's syndrome and leukaemia. Radiation in high-altitude flight is a complex mixture of particles that presumably come from stars, including our own sun. Protons, alpha particles, and heavier atomic particles from countless stars in our galaxy are sources of primary cosmic radiation. In addition to the radiation coming from vast distances, the radiation from the sun, we call solar cosmic radiation, bombards our planet. When these particles enter the Earth's atmosphere, they collide with atoms of nitrogen, oxygen, & other particles in air producing secondary particles, mainly neutrons. Many of the primary and secondary particles are absorbed by the Earth's atmosphere, However, at high altitudes during commercial aviation the radiation is of significantly higher intensity than at ground level. Measuring all of the particles that enter an aircraft would prove difficult and would require some serious equipment. The GammaRae Pager provides accurate measurement of gamma particles and many interactions are known to release these particles along with alpha beta and neutron, so although we do not measure all of the particles we can determine that the level of gamma radiation from collisions with other particles and direct collisions with the radiation monitor clearly show that high altitude flight is not without risks from increased radiation exposure. Close Encounter with a pair of mating dragonfly. Great movie for education purposes showing close up footage of fluids being past from the male to the female during fertilization. The fluids can be seen as they emerge from the male in a droplet, which appears to be sucked in by the female, this happens several times and you can see the light reflecting in the fluid as it happens The camera I had was limited with video capabilities, doubt I will ever observe this again either just happened to have a camera handy at the time. I can see this movie being used in schools, especially in biology lessons. Tel: +441803524117 Andrew K Fletcher

John Cann Walks after 11 years of paralysis using a simple non-invasive free therapy, discovered by Andrew K Fletcher, who has shown beyond any shadow of doubt that gravity plays a vital roll in the circulation of fluids and that posture in relation to the constant direction of gravity is of paramount importance when restoring function to all neurological and non-neurological damage. Conditions this therapy has helped include: Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injury, short term memory loss, heart conditions, blood pressure, respiratory problems, psoriasis, thrombosis, varicose veins, oedema, optic nerve damage, bladder infections, scoliosis of the spine, leg ulcer, gangrene, even completely restoring sight in supposedly irreversible optic nerve damage caused through long term progressive ms, to the point where a lady with long term damage to the optic nerve, who could not make out the edge of her monitor, completed an Open University degree and can now legally drive a vehicle on the road without wearing glasses. Confirmed by her ophthalmologist. Check out my other video's to learn why tilting the bed has an effect on circulation. And please feel free to ask questions or leave a comment. Spinal Cord Injury On Saturday April 15th 2000, John obtained the timber for parallel bars to be erected at his home in Cornwall, On Sunday I went to John's home and completed the job, for tomorrow was to be a momentous occasion indeed. John was left paralysed, in 1990, when surgery to his spine went wrong. He was told that after two years any chance of further recovery would be highly unlikely and for the next six years he experienced little if any change in his condition. Monday morning I am on my way to John's home in Cornwall, to meet with Tim Iredale, who is a news reporter for Carlton Television Southwest. We intended to witness something truly magical. But could not have imagined what was in store for us. John was about walk in front of a television camera and crew for the first time in close to ten years. John had told me that he had regained the ability to move his legs, but I had grossly underestimated how much function John had regained. During the interview, John was asked to show how he manages to get out of bed now and he transferred with ease both in and out of bed, leaning back and lifting his legs. He was then asked to raise his legs while lying on the bed and he obliged with ease. When asked if he could feel when touched on his legs, he replied my legs feel like normal legs instead of heavy weights. John then went on to explain how much of the swelling in his legs had gone-and that this flies in the face of the current act of elevating the legs above the heart. Advise from the medical profession, which John duly ignored in favour of sleeping with his legs down. Fortunately for John this meant that he could now wear ankle braces and special shoes, which would, provided support for his substantially weakened and as yet unresponsive ankles. John approached the parallel bars in his wheel chair and applied the brakes when he was in position. He grasped the two ends of the parallel bars and using his legs he pushed himself into a vertical position. Towering some six feet four inches, John moved one leg in front of the other, bending the knees as he lifted each leg to walk 12 feet to the end of the bars. I turned and looked at Tim and saw disbelief and astonishment flash across his face, I bet my face was a sight to behold too. John then turned his powerful 19 stone body around and walked, yes walked back to his chair. Struggling and somewhat weakened by the experience, he lowered his body into the chair and his face had the expression of a boxer who had just knocked down his opponent. He said casually: 'Was that alright'? John had indeed delivered a powerful blow to his opponent. Fortunately heavy rain prevented us from doing a retake and the rest of the interview took place in John's bedroom. When the story was finished and everyone was ready to leave, I turned and thanked the camera man and Tim Iredale, who turned and said that this is one of those days that you will always remember, one of those days when you know exactly what you were doing. The cameraman said while shaking my hand that: ' it has been a privilege to work with me and witness the results from such a simple application'. I drove home the richest man alive that day and will remember it for the rest of my days. On Monday the 17th April 2000 I waited for the local news on Carlton TV and saw the opening news which pictured me looking down my Naturesway Sleep System, a simple bed designed for to take us into the new millennium. After the interlude the fun really started. John was walking for everyone in the South West of England to see, at least. The news stayed focused on the remarkable effects of two eight-inch blocks tucked under the head end of John's bed. No $billion research, no waiting for the next ten years to see if it works and no room for any refutation of the results, which were plain for everyone to see on Carlton Television, News, Language Science Park, Plympton, Plymouth, Devon, UK. But John is not the only person with a spinal cord injury, who is benefiting from the effects of gravity, in fact there are two more people in the Torbay Area of Devon who are making steady progress. Sunday Independent April 16th,2000 page 4 Burrington Way, Plymouth PL5 3LN UK Heading: RAISING HIS BED TOWARDS THE SKIES, BY ANTHONY ABBOTT. WHEELCHAIR-BOUND Julian Boustead is taking to the skies for a parachute jump to raise awareness about a simple bed treatment that's given him a new lease of life. The 37 year old - who was left paralysed after breaking his neck during a charity assault course run. Struggling to get out of bed in the morning and always felt the cold until he took the simple step of raising the head of his bed on blocks of wood by a matter of inches. Julian, who lives near Torquay, has urged everyone to try the Naturesway Sleep System, Pioneered by West-Country Inventor Andrew Fletcher, and first revealed in the Sunday Independent nearly three years ago. He said; 'I used to feel dizzy when I got up and I couldn't stay outdoors for long because I always felt the cold. 'After the first night, I got out of bed straight away with the help of the nurses and I did not feel faint, My circulation has also improved. I would never put the bed back again and all my family are sleeping on raised beds.' Now Julian, a former professional boxer and equestrian expert who still teaches youngsters riding, has premised Andrew Fletcher he will do a parachute jump this summer to show other sufferers the benefit of the bed treatment. Julian Colour Picture: Sub heading: Wheelchair-bound Julian Boustead will jump from the skies this summer. Picture Steve Porter It was former engineer Andrew who contacted Julian two years ago after learning of his plight and suggested he tried the bed method. Gravity Andrew was fascinated by the way water moved up trees through roots and wandered how the gravity and the flow of water would effect the human body. He put some bricks under the head of his own bed and within four weeks, his wife's varicose veins had disappeared. Since then he has discovered his treatment has helped MS sufferers get some feeling back in their legs and arthritis sufferers. John's story In 1990 I had two slipped discs, and had a lamenectomy which ended up with me being unable to walk. It is thought that a delay of 39 hours for surgery to what was found to be a compression of the spinal cord was responsible for my paralysis. I was lucky enough to get a bed at ROOKWOOD Hospital, a place that I cannot thank or speak highly enough of, they gave me back the will to live. After two years all the slow progress stopped as I had been informed to expect. I had no feeling from the hips down and no movement of the legs at all. Luckily my arms were o.k so transfers to the wheelchair were more of a throw which usually ended with my coccyx hitting the wheel, but as there was no feeling, so it didn't bother me too much. After a few months came the most horrendous phantom pains like a knife attached to the mains that struck anywhere in the legs or feet, for this I was on strong painkillers or if it was too bad injections. When driving my car around a corner, I had to wedge my head against the roof of the car to stop my body from falling over. This was due to damage to the nerves, which used to control the nerves which held my upper body erect, something I used to take for granted as everyone else does. Getting into bed would involve tremendous effort. I would throw my rear onto the bed and then with my right hand holding the wheel, I would pull my left leg up, with my left hand, holding my trouser leg. Then holding the bedding with my left hand, I would pull my right leg up with my right hand. At one stage I had even asked for my legs to be amputated, as they were useless and hung heavily. In addition my toenails would fall out on a regular basis, predominantly the big toe nails, often coming away when I removed my socks. I often bumped my coccyx while transferring from my wheelchair, though I could not tell if I had injured myself, due to the absence of pain. About two years ago a cutting from a paper was sent to me, it was about Andrew Fletcher's raised bed. I rang Andrew and he explained his theory and told me how to raise the bed. The bed was raised eight inches that day, when I saw the bed it looked impossible not to end up on the floor at the foot. However that night was wonderful, the phantom pains stopped and I had a full nights sleep. Slowly things started to improve, improvements such as instead of having to grab my sock or trouser leg to lift my legs onto the bed I could lean back and swing them up, muscles in my thighs started to twitch, turning over in bed became possible without having to grab the side of the bed and pull myself over, not having to pull my legs over by hand. I have experienced so many improvements that creep up and are not noticed until days later. Pains started again and I thought here we go again, but it soon became obvious to me that it was nerve regeneration pains that I was experiencing. Although they felt like previous pains, these stayed in the same place anything from six to twenty four hours. The next time the pains moved further down the leg, now I am glad to say those pains have gone the last ones were in my toes. The present pains are in the feet again but generated from the nerve that runs under the buttocks, now the feeling has come back to that area it makes sitting in the wheelchair most uncomfortable, but that is the next problem to get over, but I will, in the knowledge that something else will improve when the new pains subside. Now, what I would like to say to everyone who reads this is; if you have any medical problem try it, and more importantly "stick with it"! Most of all have faith in the healing power of gravity, it has worked for me, AND WHEN I WALK AGAIN! I will first thank Andrew, and secondly I will let everyone that reads this web page know about it. Water flowing up instead of down will not just baffle your science teacher and enlighten the class as to the true principles behind circulation in trees and plants. This simple experiment should be shown in every science book and every budding scientist should at least observe it But preferably repeat these experiments in order to appreciate how important they are. The Education Authority for now is hanging on to erroneous outdated textbook beliefs and misconceptions. Possibly to avoid embracing back peddling or merely to avoid rocking the somewhat unstable boat. Implications Gravity is the reason the rain falls and the rivers flow. Gravity powers the ocean currents. Gravity drives the worlds weather. Gravity is the reason that volcanoes erupt and earthquakes tear the land apart. Gravity is the reason an atomic bomb does not destroy our planet. Gravity is the stabilising force that enables us all to enjoy our planets many wonders. Gravity is the very essence of all life! Humans by nature are arrogant to believe we are capable of overcoming gravity. When Astronauts enter micro gravity the body rapidly degenerates, rapid bone loss, heart decreases in size, visual disturbances, immune deficiency, neurological damage takes place, skin deteriorates, Muscular Atrophy or Muscle wastage is rampant and metabolism is reduced so keeping warm becomes a struggle, circulation is seriously compromised by the reduction in gravity while orbiting the Earth, Many experiments have been conducted now, all of which identify gravity as being the stabilising factor for maintaining health and well-being. Ironically. The same degeneration on the body can be induced by confining healthy people to sleeping horizontally or head down over a prolonged period. This fact alone should at least indicate that there might be something seriously wrong with accepted literature on human physiology. Yet it does nothing to alter the path of the medical education system, who keep pumping out the same text from the same books year after year after year. Producing well intentioned professional doctors and nurses who would never dream of questioning the books from which they gained a degree for fear of ridicule or being ostracised. Yet certain practices happen each and every day that do not make sense with the literature but are know to produce the desired results. For example. Taking away the pillows and laying a person flat will rapidly speed up the death of a terminally ill patient. Discovering how gravity drives the circulation has inevitably caused me to question why our species has adopted sleeping on a flat and totally unscientific bed for so many years, yet it has not always been so. History tells us that people slept sitting up in bed and were often afraid to lay down because of plague and infectious diseases. I hope you have enjoyed watching the videos titled The Gravity Of Life. Circulation in all living species Harnesses gravity to drive the fluids in trees, plants, animals, humans and even the Ocean Currents by acting upon minute changes in density due to evaporation / transpiration. This discovery helps us to understand how a non-living physical force generates circulation, breathing life into every living organism, including you and I. This video sets out some simple experiments that illustrate a powerful yet hitherto overlooked circulatory process capable of lifting water from ground level beyond 24 metres vertical without any artificial aids. There is no pump involved; yet water flows effortlessly like the sap in a tree to great heights. These experiments will amaze your Science Teachers and cause them to question what they are teaching in class. Mr Smith, the science teacher at Paignton Community College said when watching water flowing up to a third floor window at the College; 'I have no problem with this experiment, this is exactly how water is lifted by trees, but what can I do about it? I still have to teach the curriculum.' Doctor Choi in the engineering department at Exeter University after hearing my theory during our meeting looked out of the window of his office and said; 'For the first time, I understand a tree'. Two vascular surgeons from Torbay Hospital after witnessing the experiments and hearing the theory replied; ' I thought pure science was dead, yet here it is on my kitchen table'. Another quote went; 'This fit's with everything I know about Human Physiology and just has to be correct'. I was also asked what would happen to the pressures inside the vessels of the leg following exercise. I replied; 'there would be an increase in positive pressure in the arteries and a decreased pressure in the veins, according to my theory. They replied, this is exactly what does happen and until now we have not fully understood it. Professor Edzard Urnst at Exeter University following a short introduction to himself and several doctors wrote. We were truly fascinated! I have a huge collection of promises of further investigation and possible clinical trials being conducted to test the theory further. None have been forthcoming! A further video will follow shortly showing a scaled down version of the Brixham Experiment which was reported in the local press, witnessed by forestry senior management and scientists, yet ignored since 1995. The Brixham Experiment also featured in another video show the true power of this phenomenon. Please feel free to ask questions and leave a comment. Andrew The following review came from a letter I wrote to the Late Professor H T Hammel, who was a member of the Max Plank Institute. Within a 2 weeks I received his reply INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDIICINE date September 6/ 1995 Dear Mr Fletcher: I received the information you sent me regarding your ideas about fluid transport in trees, in tubing and in the vascular system in humans. I will study your ideas and comment upon them as soon as possible. A Quick scan of your Brixham experiment prompts me to ask if you conducted this experiment with boiled water without any solute added to the tubing on either side of the central point which you raise 24 meters? I expect that you could raise the tubing to the same height with or without solute in the water. In any case , your experiment confirms that clean water (water that is unbroken water, water that is without a single minute bubble of vapour) can support tension of several hundreds of atmospheres. The record tension obtained experimentally is 270 atmospheres. At 10 degrees C. (c.f. Briggs, L. Limiting negative pressure of water. Journal of Applied Physics 21: 721-722 1950). I expect even this tension at brake point can be exceeded by careful cleansing of the water, to remove even the most minute region of gas phase. When the water is already broken, as occurs when gas is entrapped on particulate matter in ordinary water, the water will expand around even a single break when tension (negative Pressure) is applied to the water. When you boil the water, prior to applying (2.4-1) ATM negative pressure to the water in the highest point of the tubing, you eliminate some of these breaks in ordinary water. I expect that dissolving NaCl or other solutes in the water will have little or no effect on the way you measure the tensile strength of water. I am enclosing some reprints that may interest you. Some of these deal with negative pressures we have measured in tall trees, mangroves and desert shrubs. Other reprints deal with how solutes alter water in aqueous solutions and how colloidal solutes (proteins) affect the flux of protein free fluid between plasma in capillaries and interstitial fluid. Sincerely H.T. Hammel Ph.D. (more) (less) Category Howto & DIY Google "Andrew K Fletcher" or "Inclined Bed Therapy" And see where this amazing discovery in circulation is leading us.

One man's dream but a benefit to all Captain Bob Curtis Brixham's Maritime Pilot Herald Express 15/12 94 Most of the troubles of the world seem to be caused by man's greed. We tend to reach out grabbing that which we know to be in short supply.....Man is stupid. Andy Fletcher of Paignton wants to change our basic indiscretions by re-routing the most basic of man's movement. He has a dream to change the world's deserts into vast Oases, using irrigation from unwanted sewage and unless a government or international consortium somewhere step forward to transform his dreamed of project into acceptable reality, I feel that his deep concern for the future of our planet will turn into a nightmare of frustration. Along with several others drawn to meet this interesting, friendly man, I attended a gathering in Torquay last week to listen to and comment on the outlined "bones" of his ideas. ... so let's hope high and mighty take it on board In conjunction with many governments, health organisations, responsible authorities an companies such as South West Water, we must all attend to the universal problem of what is to be done with our own waste material. Many years ago that exceptional Cornish Politician, the late Mr David Penhaligon, yelled his anger at parliament and accused his honourable friends of adopting a Cornish Farmers' philosophy-"...just 'aive it over the edge, me ansom!" Andy pointed out to the small collection of people the mounting economical and complex measures that we-that is, all of the civilised nations-have to face NOW, if the earth is to survive. Someone with power, drive and sharing the same aspirations for the future of this once good, green globe of ours must surely take the Oasis Irrigation Project on board and carry its banners to the parliaments of Europe, demanding that they listen-not only listen but act...before we all find ourselves in the... mire! For instance, did you know that the city of New York packages two thousand tons of crude human waste, each and every day, and transports it to distant Texas, to be spread across deserted farmland? The worlds gone bonkers! Fame Of course, there were bound to be those present at the meeting who believe that the "dreamer" is only intent on seeking fame and fortune. I believe those assumptions to to be quite wrong. Others concerned that Andy has not protected his ideas from exploitation and it was lovely to here his laughing reply of : "But if someone steals my ideas-great! It will only prove that someone out there has listened and acted on it. More to the point, it will not have been in vain." What a man! The world would develop a darker shade if it lost it's idealists and dreamers such as Mr Fletcher of Paignton.

Water Flowing UP a Cliff to 24 metres, with NO PUMP! This Simple Experiment in 1995 Pulled Plug On 300-Year old Law Of Physics, Yet has been ignored by many scientists, doctors ever since this historic event took place in Devon. The theory behind this video is based on sound fully repeatable model and gives us for the first time a sound common sense understanding of the driving force behind the very essence of life. I believe I have discovered the primary source of circulation in humans, animals, trees and plants. Gravity provides all of the power. The Experiment: Consists of a single length of 6 mil bore strong nylon tube, filled with pre-boiled water. Both open ends are immersed in two large water filled bottles at ground level. 10 millilitres of coloured salt solution was added to the centre of the tube, which was raised on a rope and pulley to the height of 24 metres. Result: As the centre of the tube was raised, the salt solution begins to flow down one side causing one bottle of water to overflow while the donor bottle water level falls as water travels from one bottle up the suspended tube and down the other side into the recipient bottle. The Video is unedited since the event and provides accurate timescale for the suspended fluids remaining actively circulating inside a tube suspended more than double the limit thought to be possible for a liquid to exist under such tension. Explanation: This simple Flow and Return System must exist wherever evaporation takes place from a liquid that contains substances denser than water! A tree for example evaporates almost all of the water drawn through the roots from its leaves in a process called transpiration. Evaporated water does not contain salts or sugars, so these substances MUST be concentrated to some degree at the leaf. Gravity pulls the denser or concentrated sap down, represented by the 10 millilitres of salt solution in the experiment. The downward flowing sap generates a positive pressure in front of it and at the same time a negative tension behind it, which is powerful enough to lift less denser fluids in adjoined tubes, represented by the salt free side or rising side of the suspended loop of tubs shown in the video.
