Low-cost rapid PCI compliance using Veri-NAC.<br> Cybercriminals often target retailers and e-tailers because they think of them as easy targets. Retailers usually have a firewall, anti-virus, IDS, IPS all pointed "outward." But most successful breaches of PCI happen "behind" those devices. These "inside" attacks happen through devices such as wireless routers behind corporate firewalls with hackers spoofing the MAC address of a trust IP asset, such as a bar-code scanner or a cash register. To protect their assets, retailers need a network access control solution, such as Veri-NAC, that manages these inside attacks.
