It has been a tournament that has already produced some upsets, remarkable performances and talking points, including the Mumbai Indians opening partnership of Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting, Delhi Daredevils making a poor start by losing their three matches, badly missing the likes of Virender Sehwag, Kevin Pietersen and Jesse Ryder. Meanwhile, surprise packages Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad join Mumbai and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the top of the table after making excellent starts, boosted by performances from the likes of Rahul Dravid, Shaun Tait, Cameron White and Thisara Perera. A cricket video for Cricket World TV about the latest cricket news from *******www.cricketworld****. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look at the fourth One-Day International between India and England in Mohali. India clinched the series thanks to Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina batting their way to half-centuries and three wickets for Ravindra Jadeja for whom bowling against England must be becoming a favourite pastime. This was perhaps Rohit Sharma's best innings in an India shirt - certainly, for a long while - and although Kevin Pietersen, Alastair Cook and Joe Root scored half-centuries for England, India again never looked in much danger of slipping up. Raina earlier failed to add to his tally of catches when dropping Root but he got some good fortune with the bat when Steven Finn had him caught behind only to kick the stumps over with in his delivery stride and dead ball was called. Although Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni all failed today, India moved into an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series. A cricket video for Cricket World TV about the latest cricket news from *******www.cricketworld****. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look at the West Indies squad to tour Australia for a series of five One-Day Internationals and a Twenty20 International in February. The headline news is the return after nearly two years of Ramnaresh Sarwan as Marlon Samuels misses out. Narsingh Deonarine is also recalled, as is Johnson Charles with Jason Holder called up for the first time and Dwayne Bravo returning from injury. Sarwan enjoyed a successful 2012 with Leicestershire and will be hoping to reach 100 in an ODI for the fourth time. Samuels, meanwhile, suffered an injury during that same game that he and Shane Warne had an onfield argument, and there will be no immediate return to Australia for him. Over the last few years, Australia vs West Indies matches have often featured onfield battles - both with and without the ball - including Sarwan vs McGrath in a Test match and Chris Gayle clashing with Michael Clarke during the 2006 Champions Trophy in India. The West Indies have not beaten Australia in an ODI in Australia since 1997, when Brian Lara, Courtney Walsh and Shivnarine Chanderpaul were in the same team and Darren Sammy is hoping his side can pick up where they left off when winning the ICC World Twenty20 last year and break that run of 14 matches without a win - 12 defeats and 2 no results. There are plenty of high profile cricket series and tournaments to whet the appetite including the Indian Premier League, the Champions League Twenty20, the Women's World Cup and the Champions Trophy to name but four. Furthermore, the Ashes will captivate attention as free-scoring captains Alastair Cook and Michael Clarke lead their sides into battle once more and Sachin Tendulkar, having retired from ODIs, will try to prolong his international career. 2013 will see Australia have to play without Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey following their retirements and Tendulkar will be missed by India as they begin the process towards defending the World Cup in 2015. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look back at the final day of the first Test between Australia and Sri Lanka in Hobart. Australia put behind them ball tampering allegations against Peter Siddle and another player to win the game by 137 runs, Siddle and Mitchell Starc sharing nine wickets in Sri Lanka's second innings. The Siddle ball tampering controversy was swiftly brought to a conclusion by the ICC, who confirmed soon after the game that no charges would be brought against any player, allowing fans to marvel at Siddle and Starc bowling outstandingly to dismiss Sri Lanka for 255 on the final day. Starc took 5 wickets and Siddle four although Siddle taking 5 wickets in the first innings handed him the man of the match award. A cricket video for Cricket World TV about the latest cricket news from *******www.cricketworld****. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look back at the final day of the fourth Test between India and England in Nagpur. Following controversy and drama over the weekend when Jonathan Trott hit a Ravi Jadeja no ball for four after it pitched several times, Virat Kohli also getting involved, the final day was a more sedate affair as Trott and Warwickshire team-mate Ian Bell both scored centuries to guide England to the draw. Mahendra Singh Dhoni had been run out for 99 in India's innings but there were no such worries for England as Trott batting and Bell batting helped them close on 252 for four in their second innings. Even Joe Root got in on the act by hitting R Ashwin for six. The series victory is England's first in India since 1985 and India's first defeat at home since they lost to Australia in 2004. A cricket video for Cricket World TV about the latest cricket news from *******www.cricketworld****. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look back on day three of the third and final Test between England and India in Kolkata. Alastair Cook was finally dismissed for 190, in bizarre circumstances to a run out by Virat Kohli, but England, thanks to contributions from Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen and Matthew Prior, were able to build a substantial lead by stumps. Cook was batting beautifully until his departure while Trott put a recent run of low scores behind him to make a valuable 87. Pietersen hit 54 and Prior was unbeaten on 40 having counter-attacked in the final session to put England 193 runs ahead. Although there were no Pietersen sixes during his innings he batted fluently leaving the switch hits to Trott and Prior and with England's lead approaching 200, their dream of a series win in India remains very much alive. Cook's run out dismissal was the first time he had been dismissed run out in 312 first-class innings. He now has been run out as many times in Tests as Sachin Tendulkar has been stumped - just the once. The two sides clash at the iconic Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata with the series locked at 1-1. India, inspired by Cheteshwar Pujara and Virender Sehwag won the opening Test in Ahmedabad before England, driven on by Alastair Cook, Kevin Pietersen and Monty Panesar, levelled things at Mumbai. Can India regain their composure in front of their adoring home crowd? Can Sachin Tendulkar pull out something special or is it the end of the road for him? Can England do it again? Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look ahead to the final day of the first Test between Australia and South Africa in Brisbane. Australia go into the final day with a narrow lead thanks to Michael Clarke scoring a brilliant unbeaten double century and Ed Cowan hitting 100 for the first time. That was in response to South Africa's 450 which was built upon centuries by Hashim Amla and Jacques Kallis. Now the home side are hopeful of pulling off yet another remarkable victory. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we look ahead to the Test series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Sri Lanka have named a 15-man squad for the series which gets underway in Galle on 17th November, calling up uncapped 19-year-old Tharindu Kaushal. His only major experiences has come in Under-19 internationals and in a call-up reminiscint of that of David Warner in 2008, he is yet to play a first-class match. He hasn't even played a one-day or Twenty20 match - aside from with the Under-19s. Elsewhere, there is little change. Tillakarate Dilshan is expected to recover from a back injury and be fit although Ajantha Mendis is also missing due to injury. Titans made it two wins out of two with a convincing 59-run win over Auckland, whose own winning run came to an end with Jacques Rudolph, Farhaan Behardien and Alfonso Thomas turning on the style. Auckland set a record but by then it was too little too late. It is also too late for Kolkata to do anything about their semi-final chances. Their match against Perth was washed out which means they are out of the competition despite still having one game remaining in the group. Find us on Facebook: *******www.facebook****/cricketworld and Twitter: *******www.twitter****/cricket_world as we discuss the news of Kevin Pietersen retiring from international limited overs cricket. Pietersen has decided to focus solely on Test cricket, bringing an end to a career in which he blasted more than 4,000 runs in ODI cricket and 1,000 runs in T20I cricket and helped England to victory in the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 World Cup competition. Pietersen had recently featured in the IPL for the Delhi Daredevils, hitting a wonderful 103 against Deccan Chargers and previous to that, helped England to a Test victory in Sri Lanka where he was warned for using the switch hit against Tillakaratne Dilshan. He was one of the first players to use the shot in international cricket and one of the few to switch hit in Test cricket, often using it to hit for six and four. He made his international debut in 2004 against Zimbabwe, played 18 matches before his average dropped below 100 and then played a key role in England's ICC WT20 win in 2010, also featuring in the 2007 and 2011 World Cup, where he opened the batting alongside Andrew Strauss - another player who now only features in Test cricket for England.
