Audio is 60% of your film. Even if you don't have the best camera, your videos can still be amazing if you have good audio. I'll show you how to get good audio, along with some techniques on recording audio during filmmaking. I used the Zoom H2 Audio Recorder for this entire video (except the part where it showcases the quality of the camera's mic) I may make a tutorial on how to make a cheap boom pole later. Also, in addition to this video I strongly suggest that you watch this to emphasize how important audio is. for watching! This tutorial is how to make it seem as though you are leaping over a big gap. It is more of a filmmaking technique and is a staple in many popular action movies today. Difficulty: 2 out of 5 Editing Requirements: None

A short film about a man and a stalker that follows him and appears in weird places. A high-quality version of this is located here: need DivX player to view) Any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated! Also, we know that the last 3rd of the video is WAY too dark. We decided not to re-shoot it because we figured that we would rather make a totally new video instead. (this isn't really our best stuff)

We went for an artsy style and experimented with lighting in this film. This is an experimental film, so any critiques or comments on improving would be greatly appreciated! Music: Aerodynamic by Daft Punk I'd be happy to answer any questions if you'd post them in a comment. Thanks for watching!

Another video we did for a project. This one I like much better. We did the scene from Cyrano De Bergerac where Cyrano has to fight off 100 men (it isn't described in the book) We had 2 days to write a script, 3 hours to film, and I edited it for about 4 hours. Let me know what you think! The Full Version can be found here (only difference is the opening credits and a talk scene)

This tutorial shows you how to "pass through a wall".. A really neat editing trick. Difficulty: 3 out of 5 (It's easy to do, but Tough to make it look good.) Editing Requirements: Crossfade, (keyframing in some cases) Text Tutorial: --Start at one location and move the camera up to the wall as smooth as possible. --Film various objects that may look like the inside of a wall (brick, pavement, etc.) --Film in the second location (anywhere) and move the camera at the same speed as when you first went into the wall. --Take your brick, pavement, etc clips and keyframe it so that it looks like you are moving toward it. --Take all your clips and apply crossfades between all of them, letting your brick/pavement clip play for only about 1 second each. If you need to show a scene with two of the same person, you don't need twins.. you can fake it! I'll show you how! Difficulty: 2 out of 5 Editing Requirements: Crop Function / Cookie Cutter Text Tutorial: --Put the camera on a tripod and don't move it at all. Find a place where the background won't change and film there. --Film one actor on one side of the screen (they can't pass over the "middle line") --Film the same actor but on the other side of the screen. --Place the two clips on top of each other in your editing software. --Apply a Crop function / cookie cutter effect to each clip so that it cuts out half of each clip If you have any questions on how to use Sony Vegas visit montagical for great Vegas Tutorials! for watching!

My first tutorial ever! The Whip Cut is a clever way of joining shots together without the audience realizing there's been a cut. This means that you can shoot one actor in one place and another actor in a completely different place and join the two shots together. Difficulty: 1 out of 5 Editing Requirements: Crossfade Text Tutorial: --Start at one place and rapidly move the camera 180 degrees either to the left or right. --Go to the second place and rapidly move the camera 180 degrees in the same direction, ending up on the desired spot. --Cut the two clips in the middle of the "whip cut" and apply a crossfade between them. I made this video in my free time, and I know I'm not as good as NismoJoe or Angel of Evil, but I just wanted to make a cool Gears video. Music-- Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder. I don't care if you think you're better than me and what not. I made this video for fun, not to try and brag about my skills.

A Gears of War video featuring the one and only COLE TRAIN. Hilarious clips and skits of Cole Train owning everyone in his path. He cannot be stopped! I am debating over whether I should make another one... If you wish for me to make another "Can't Stop the Train" video, just leave a comment! Thanks for watching!

The fight scene from a video we made in English. We didn't have our usual actors so some of the acting is a bit lacking, but overall it isn't bad. In case you want to know, the video we made is a modernized version of Oedipus. It is the scene where Oedipus kills his father, Laius, but we made it a Bourne Ultimatum theme. The entire video was too big to put on youtube, but can be found here: (Jason Bourne) Laius (the king, also Oedipus' father.) Driver Servant Enjoy!
