ronaldthecockI played around yesterday with some of the leftover mocap from my telltale test. We'll see if I go anywhere with this.
ronaldthecockWasnt planning to post this, but someone asked me to.also I really wanted to show off the bitchin lighting and particles.
I applied for a job as a cinematic artist at Telltale games recently, and part of the application process involves creating a representative cinematic demo with the provided audio and script, in the medium of your choice with the characters/art of your choice. naturally I chose sfm, and put this together in two days. The animation is unprocessed mocap, and if this were an original video I would have spent more time and gotten the hands and heads polished up nicely. As I was rushing to get this done, and Sfm was being extremely unstable, there are numerous errors in this test, results of me fighting lots of frustrating crashes. also I had to mocap this myself, while kind of sick , and I cant dance, so the dancing is baaaaaaad
PS. I got the job

ronaldthecockI teach you how to cheat at particles by reverse engineering valve particles. I was punished for my hubris when the particle in this tutorial causes unexpected results.
ronaldthecockMaking an old unlisted video public, just another quick test crap. I've got movies coming in, but still recovering as well, I must take my time in finishing them with quality. In meantime, haves this.
ronaldthecockthis is my crappy ipisoft terrible tutorial, I'll make a good one eventually

ronaldthecockIn this tutorial I teach you how to use the process of Conforming to merge two project files in SFM. For a written version of instructions here, Check out the link below
As with all element viewer operations, be cautious and make backups, But In my experience this process is fairly safe.
ronaldthecockA quick bit of well wishes for my saxxy competing bros, and a small medical update.
This is actually McVee uploading the saxxy entry on Zach's behalf. Unfortunately Zach is in hospital due to a internal rupture that required emergency surgery. He's been patched up and is stabilized now though. He's making a good recovery and I'm helping him out as much as possible.
This entry wasn't going to make it but i managed to finalize and render it out for him. I Didn't want it to miss the opportunity as it's a pretty great short.
Enjoy! And I think i can speak for everyone when I say we wish Zach the very best in his recovery.

ronaldthecockJust a short little feverish concept piece, hammered out between real releases. mind the rough edges.
The chick model and Tiny characters were made by Rebbacus
ronaldthecockin THIS installment of "boring trees" a little more wind and detail. I'll do a tutorial once I got some cooler tricks to add to this scene then I'll do it all as a big nuthouse showcase tutorial.
ronaldthecockDo you prefer these trees or the ones below?
I added some zombies. they were alot more lit before I rendered for some reason. All the zombies are particles.
ronaldthecockanother quick refinement on my trees scenebuild. Wayyy to many bugs here, the lighting got more realistic but less dramatic.
ronaldthecockWhat could it all mean? All I know , is that gnomes up to some foul business.
