Polar bear at Maryland Zoo in Baltimore gets a frozen treat to keep cool in a heat wave gripping the nation. (It's made with grape juice, fruit, fish, and lard. Yummy!)
I had to post a really quick and "dirty" post of the phallic tomato, growing in my father's secret garden. "Look at what we have growing," I was told as I visited the homestead for the Fourth of July. What would you think it might look like, if Dad actually used Miracle Grow, the Viagra for plant food?
Here's a quiet creation of still pictures and video of my father's flower garden while visiting the homestead. It's my small tribute for my family, and for Father's Day. There's some very minimal but evocative piano music by composer Herbert Boland, interspersed.
