We took a trip to shopping locale, Lincoln Road, in South Beach to view the sites and check out the shopping. We found some great street vendors, art deco architecture and Miami's wild parrots.
Sam's first b-day cake. He takes at it in grand style and tries hard to stoke up a good food fight.
A long day and a pile of turkey worked its magic on The Sam. He barely makes it through part of dinner but he is determined to finish, sleep-eating his last few bites.
More easy laughs from Sam but this time he gets revenge

Fun short of a kid knock the hell out of a pinata in one whack. He was the designated hitter for the one year old's party.
I had great seats to a Braves game while at NECC. They played the Nationals and won 6 to 2.
Christina, Sam and I join Christina's parents on a little adventure through St. Petersburg and a weekend of yard sales.
This years sample of pyromania in the Welch world
We came home from our RV adventure, put the kid down and he showed us his new trick. Check it out.
Many were blogging it and IM'ing while in line. The funny thing is there were many that stopped when the crowd was largest just before the opening and asked what celebrity was inside. They were a little disappointed that it was a gadget.
nspired by the worst part of the daily, 9 to 5 grind, getting there. Getting up, dressed and through the crazy traffic can sometimes be worse than a full day of work. This is a fun look at that daily ritual for the work week.
RossTanner was little creation I wrote for a Midway production. We had a "stolen" show them built off of a parody of Whose Line Is It Anyway? I grew up watching those Bob Ross shows and got the ironic humor then. I love the myths about him also with the sniper stories and other junk. The basic idea was to take Sharon Tanner, our principal, and her big personality and paste her in all of these show rip-offs. The portraitures crack also came from a conversation where we couldn't figure out what to call a portrait. Duh. We used a little lovely hyperbole with the broom and the final painting done by Jolee, the art teacher. The final print is actually pretty closer to Sharon's own personal taste though. No humor needed there. Th best part in my opinion is the b-roll footage of the hand close ups. I was in a last minute late night editing session the day before show time and felt that it needed a little more. I figured that it would be funny for the cut away to the hand be to a man hand. Indicative of super low production you see in cable access, which PBS was just a step above for the longest.
We walked into a Gay Pride parade in Philadelphia in Oct 2005. This little dance party was stuck in the middle of an intersection and broke the myth of the gay man and his inherent dancing abilites
Goofy clip of Christina and I lighting fireworks stuffed into vegetables. Ielieve they were potatoes. Love the advanced camera work
