She Was Filmed Appearing To Suffocate Her Dog With A Plastic Bag, The Hunt Is On For Her.
Cruelty to animals never fails to turn my stomach, but this ongoing case here really makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach, but first, they will have to find her.
To say fact is stranger than fiction with what this woman appears to do it pretty close to the mark here, it’s unbearable. The hunt is on for this mystery woman who has been filmed appearing to suffocate her greyhound dog with a plastic bag.
The woman is likely to be local to the area where the footage was taken, near Balgowlah in Sydney’s north, and if you’re from that area, then keep a watch out.
The woman’s description was given as being about a medium build with shoulder length dark or black hair, she was, at the time, dressed in pink jogging shorts and sneakers.
The animals rescue association, the RSPCA, is urgently asking anyone who knows this woman or her dog to contact the cruelty hotline immediately.
She Wanted To Follow Her Boyfriend so She Threw Her Dog In The Trash!
Would you get rid of your Dog to follow your partner… And would you do it by throwing him in the trash?
I highly doubt that any sane human being would do such a horrible act. No one in his right mind would think that getting rid of your Dog is a right decision.
And no human would ever think that the best way to get rid of your dog is to throw in the trash!
But you know, there is evil in this world and many people are doing acts that can only be described as being ‘evil’. I simply can not find any other word. While Nathan Bennie, a trash collector, was on his daily rounds he was shocked when he looked into one of the trash cans.
What he saw in there was unbelievable. Inside there was a Dog, she was very weak, she was starving to the point where he could see all her bones through the skin.
He was shocked, he immediately took the dog out and gave her his lunch, called the nearest animal shelter and her waited with her for their arrival.
He did not believe the situation, how would a dog end up there, and why!
The truth was soon revealed, because every criminal has to do one stupid thing, and this was just the case.
The owner of the dog forgot that the dog was micro-shipped, and that they could get her, and they did. Once they located her she was arrested.
She confesses to throwing the Dog in the trash can to get rid of her; so she could follow her boyfriend to Texas!!
But before starting her new life in Texas, she is going to spend some time in prison, as she is charged with animal cruelty, I really hope she gets sometime to think about her act and how horrible & inhumane it was, and I think she would have a lot of time to spare in jail, so I guess she will.
I still ca not believe what she’s done, It’s absolutely horrible!
The dog, which is only 10 months old, has now gained back 8 pounds and on her way to recovery.
He’s already got a lot of requests for adoption, and once she is completely
Australian Doctor’s Selfless Act Before Leaving Cave
An Australian doctor who risked his life to save 12 soccer players trapped in a Thai cave was told his father had died just moments after the daring mission was accomplished.
Dr Richard ‘Harry’ Harris, the last person out of the Tham Luang cave system after the triumphant rescue, learned the sad news shortly after he helped the last of the boys to safety on Tuesday.
‘It is with great sadness that I confirm Harry’s dad passed away last night a short time after the successful rescue operation in Thailand,’ said Andrew Pearce, Dr Harris’ boss and MedSTAR clinical director.
‘This is clearly a time of grief for the Harris family, magnified by the physical and emotional demands of being part of this week’s highly complex and ultimately successful rescue operation.
‘He will be coming home soon and taking some well-earned time off to be with his family.’
Anaesthetist Dr Richard Harris (pictured), who played a vital role in saving 12 soccer players trapped in a Thai cave system, made a surprising first phone call as the daring rescue mission came to a joyous end

Dr Harris was described as ‘essential’ to the rescue operation because of his unique skills and expertise, including 30 years of cave diving experience and his work as a medical retrieval specialist with South Australia’s MedSTAR service.
Dr Harris was known globally both for his work as a doctor and his ability to retrieve people from difficult places.
‘All the team at SA Ambulance Service is incredibly proud of Dr Harris. It has been a tumultuous week with highs and lows,’ Dr Pearce said.
‘We are delighted that Harry and the boys are safe
Teens See Pretty Girl In Car Next To Them. Then They Notice She’s Mouthing ‘Help Me’
Friends Aaron Arias, 19 and Jamal Harris, 17, were driving around together when they noticed a pretty young woman sitting in the backseat of a car next to them.
Being young, hormonal teenagers, the boys tried to make eye contact with her. It was then that they noticed something that gave them chills.
When the young woman saw them, she started mouthing something that the boys swore looked like “help me.”
They immediately sensed that something was wrong, so they called the police as they followed the other car.
“Yes, I’m on the highway. I’m witnessing a robbery. Not a robbery, a kidnapping,” Aaron told the dispatcher. “It’s me and another guy. So we’re checking out the girl in the backseat because we’re like, ‘OK, she’s kind of attractive’, and then all of a sudden the guy is turned back, looking at us.”
Thankfully, police were able to track the car down and rescue the woman. When the boys heard her terrifying story they were so glad they had trusted their guts and called the police.
It turned out the 25-year-old woman had been kidnapped at gunpoint by 37-year-old Charles Atkins Lewis and forced into his car. Thanks to Aaron and Jamal’s quick thinking, the woman was saved and Lewis was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
After the rescue, Aaron and Jamal met with the woman they had helped rescue so she could thank them.
“I would describe it as the best hug I have ever gotten,” Aaron said.
Were you glad to see these boys trust their instincts and save this woman? So share this!
Man Demands Divorce In His Letter But His Wife’s Reply Makes Him Regret Every Word He Wrote
Are you missing a spicy, full of drama, chuckles, revenge real story with the most unexpected ending?
You must give a gentle, snickering read to this couple’s letter conversation that might turn your boring and grimaced day into a fairly brighter one.
If you’ve already read it somewhere, reading it twice will hurt your teeth harder.
Entertainment is all yours!
A man wrote a letter to his wife demanding divorce but there was no fun until the wife took the pen and wrote the chortling miraculous reply.
I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you forever. I’ve been a good man to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell.
Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw.
Last week, you came home & didn’t even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps.
You don’t tell me you love me anymore; you don’t want sex or anything that connects us as husband & wife. Either you’re cheating on me or you don’t love me anymore; whatever! The case, I’m gone.
P.S. Don’t try to find me. Your SISTER & I are moving away to WEST VIRGINIA together!
Have a great life!
What a sad story, I must say! I’m broken by the grief of this poor soul. How do you feel? His wife was such an emotionless woman who didn’t notice her husband’s new boxers.
But that’s what she wrote in her reply.
Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been.
I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining & griping. Too bad that doesn’t work.
I DID notice when you got a haircut last week, but the 1st thing that c
Black Cat Won’t Stop Staring At Photo Of Navy Son Until Mom Pieces Together Truth She Missed
A sleek and beautiful black cat named Yuuki forlornly stared at the people perusing the animal shelter where she spent too much time waiting for someone to sweep her up and take her to her forever home. Finally, a teen named Max and his mom Erin Nimrichter were drawn to the sweet-natured kittie and adopted her.
Max and his mom thought Yuuki was the best cat ever and Yuuki reciprocated those feelings. Max and Yuuki would crash on the couch snuggling as they fell asleep.
It didn’t take long before Yuuki liked Max more than catnip. In fact, she fell in love with her human, Erin told The Dodo.
“Max has always felt connections to any animals he was around. He’s a sweetheart.”
But Yuuki’s feline heart was broken when six months after she was adopted, Max shipped off for boot camp. He currently is serving his first year with the U.S. Navy.
Max had hoped that Yuuki would keep his mom company in his absence. Neither Max or Erin anticipated that Yuuki would pine for Max instead.
Erin caught Yuuki sitting in front of her framed photo of Max, gazing intently at him. Erin thought it was odd, maybe even a fluke.
But when she moved and the photo found a new spot in her new place, Yuuki found it. She resumed her loyal devotion to Max and camped out on the dresser beside his picture.
“She just sits there, stares and meows and then lays down next to the picture to nap. I know for sure she misses him.”
Fortunately, Yuuki the lovesick kittie had the opportunity to reunite with Max in person. When the family enjoyed a scheduled visit with Max, Yuuki was able to tag along.
This is one of the sweetest pet stories! We pray Max has a safe six-year stint with the Navy and that he and Yuuki will be happily reunited when he’s done.
Marine Could not Wait To Leave Work. It’s Worth Taking A Minute Of Your Day And Reading
Reader Mark B. emailed this story this morning, on Veteran’s Day. It’s worth taking a minute of your day and reading.
I just wanted to get the day over with and go down to Smokey’s for a few cold ones. Sneaking a look at my watch, I saw the time, 1655. Five minutes to go before the cemetery gates are closed for the day. Full dress was hot in the August sun. Oklahoma summertime was as bad as ever — the heat and humidity at the same level — both too high.
I saw the car pull into the drive, ’69 or ’70 model Cadillac Deville, looked factory-new. It pulled into the parking lot at a snail’s pace.
An old woman got out so slow I thought she was paralyzed. She had a cane and a sheaf of flowers, about four or five bunches as best I could tell.
I couldn’t help myself. The thought came unwanted, and left a slightly bitter taste: “She’s going to spend an hour, and for this old soldier my hip hurts like hell and I’m ready to get out of here right now!”
But for this day my duty was to assist anyone coming in. Kevin would lock the “In” gate and if I could hurry the old biddy along , we might make the last half of happy hour at Smokey’s.
I broke Post Attention. My hip made gritty noises when I took the first step and the pain went up a notch. I must have made a real military sight; middle-aged man with a small pot-gut and half a limp, in Marine Full Dress Uniform, which had lost its razor crease about 30 minutes after I began the watch at the cemetery.
I stopped in front of her, halfway up the walk. She looked up at me with an old woman’s squint. “Ma’am , may I assist you in any way?”
She took long enough to answer. “Yes, son. Can you carry these flowers? I seem to be moving a tad slow these days.”
“My pleasure Ma’am.” Well, it was not too much of a lie.
She looked again. “Marine, where were you stationed?”
” Vietnam, Ma’am. Ground-pounder. ’69 to ’71.”
She looked at me closer. “Wounded in action
This House Takes 6 Hours To Build And Costs Just 33K
ack to school time is here! That is a relief for some and sad for others. Our society puts our faith and hopes in people that play professional sports or sing in rock bands. Those people do have a place in our society, but they should not be looked up to as heroes. Firefighters, nurses, EMT’s, teachers, and police officers are the heroes!
One teacher understood the power of words and used hers to help her students. The teacher took the time to write a personal note to each of her students after she heard why one of her students had taken an extended absence from school. They say that “sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me.”
Take a look at this
A TEACHER SENT LETTERS TO EVERY STUDENT AFTER A PARENT SAID THIS.
Two months ago was the first time I cried during parent/teacher conferences. A mom of a student who I have taught for two years showed up at my table with a list of her daughter's teachers. Each one had "yes" or "no" written next to it. My name had a "yes" next to it, so she proceeded to explain to me the reason for her daughter's extended absence. Her daughter- a friendly, intelligent, beautiful, driven, young woman- not only planned to commit suicide, but was in the act of doing so when the police got a Safe 2 Tell report, broke in, and stopped her. She had deleted her social media accounts and left goodbye letters; she was ready to leave the world. As her mom sat across from me, we both had tears streaming down our faces. Feeling helpless, I asked if I could write my student a letter to be delivered to her at the hospital; she said her daughter would love that. My student got the letter; her mom said that her daughter cried, turned to her mom and said, “How could somebody say such nice things about me? I didn't think anybody would miss me if I was gone."
It made me realize that I was way too close to losing another student to suicide. I spent the next 2 months writing cards to every one of my students- over 100 of them- telling ea
Looking to ensure that your kids spend their time outdoors this summer instead of parked in front of various screens?
This shadow drawing project from child care center Above and Beyond is a great way to keep your kids busy outside.
Not only will this project provide your kids with a creative outlet, but it’s also something they can do outside over and over again as long as the warm weather lasts.
What’s shadow drawing? Check it out.
We learned about this fun art project when the Above and Beyond, Te Puna Facebook page first posted about it:
As you can see, it involves setting up drawing subjects (they used fun animal toys) and paper.
Make sure the subjects are in the sun and casting a shadow onto the paper for your kids to trace — and there you have it! Instant fun!
If you need some inspiration, you can find plenty of kiddos having fun with shadow drawing on Instagram.
User Rachel Drew shared this photo of a little boy drawing a dinosaur based on its shadow:
In addition to animal figurines, you can use small blocks to create various scenes for your children to sketch.
Check out the creative setup in this photo, shared by Instagrammer Noor Al Masri:
Here’s a fun idea. Have one or more kids stand in the sun to cast a shadow and let another little one trace their figures with chalk, as seen in this photo shared by Instagram user Mette Egholm Velso:
If you’re able to, it’d be great to jump in on this activity with your kids because this is something all ages can enjoy.
Besides — nothing beats spending time with your family in the great outdoors.
Even celeb-status parents have noted how much they enjoy quality bonding time spent playing outside.
Kate Middleton penned a letter to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, writing, “Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.”
And Britney Spears also enjoys getting crafty with her sons on a bea
Those who abuse others should be locked away and forgotten. There’s no excuse to take out your anger on someone else. Domestic abuse happens more often than we might think. Sadly every year, women are murdered by their batterers. These women might have left their abuser, but they returned to their detriment. Some women are brave enough to break away for good.
Kelsie Skillen from Milton, Glasgow was 19 when she was almost killed by her then-boyfriend, 19-year-old James McCourt. Kelsie had no idea how quickly the tables could turn against her. One evening James became so enraged he imprisoned and tortured her for hours.
It’s unclear whether James showed previous signs of abuse. Violence doesn’t just come out of the blue. There are little signs to watch out for that victims shouldn’t ignore. Things like being too controlling, demanding to see text messages, telling a woman what to wear, getting jealous when she speaks to another guy, even if he’s just a friend. Calling on the phone all the time to check up on her; telling her to be back in a specific amount of time when she goes out, and freaking out when she’s late. He’ll isolate you from friends and family, just wanting you to be with him. You’re in the most danger when there’s a baby on the way or that’s been born. He’ll become jealous of the child.
Abusers are cowards; they’re insecure and they prey on women they believe they can intimidate and influence. These women might be struggling with their own self-esteem issues. Though your heart might be telling you he’s a good guy, listen to your friends and family. They know you best. Something inside you will be alerting you that what’s going on isn’t right. That’s your intuition. Pay attention to it.
On this particular evening, James’s rage started in the car on the way back home after a night out. He blamed Kelsie for leaving his jacket behind. He began to rant. Kelsie refused to give him a cigarette. James snapped.
“He said it was my fault,” Kelsie later recounted,
Paula Godwin was out with her beloved dogs Todd and Cooper on the morning of Friday, June 29th.
That’s when something dreadful occurred. A snake suddenly slithered onto the road… and Todd stepped in to save his owner from a potentially deadly bite.
Now he is being hailed a hero across social media channels, writes Buzzfeed.
Paula from Arizona, USA, enjoys frequently walking her dogs Todd and Cooper. She loves and cherishes her dogs with all her heart.
Todd, the hero of this story, is a sweet six-month-old golden retriever.
“I love my dogs,” Paula told Buzzfeed.
Paula’s area is home to several wild animals, including rattlesnakes. And that is precisely what she and Todd encountered Friday morning.
As they were out on their walk, Todd suddenly caught sight of the deadly snake, which Paula had not yet noticed.
“It was a beautiful morning but as we were walking down the hill I literally almost stepped on a rattlesnake,” Paula wrote on Facebook.
Todd immediately got in between the snake and his owner. That’s when he was bitten.
“But my hero of a puppy Todd saved me. He jumped right in front of my leg where I surely would have got bit. This is what a hero looks like. Please say a little prayer for my sweet hero,” she added.
Paula immediately picked Todd up after the attack and rushed him to hospital, reports Buzzfeed. They arrived within about ten minutes, allowing Todd to receive an antidote. They were there for 12 hours before the poor dog was able to go home.
So this morning was up bright and early to go on a hike on 7 th street carefree . It was a beautiful morning but as we were walking down the hill I literally almost stepped on a mf rattlesnake. 212 People Are Dead And Hundreds More Are Seriously Ill In The Largest Listeria Outbreak In History
• A food-poisoning outbreak has killed 189 people and sickened hundreds more.
• A South African meat-production plant was the root of the listeria outbreak.
• The incident is the largest listeria outbreak ever detected, according to the World Health Organization.
A food-poisoning outbreak has killed dozens of people, with the death toll expected to increase in the coming days.
As of Thursday, 189 people have died in a listeria outbreak stemming from a meat-production plant in Polokwane, South Africa. The country's National Institute for Communicable Diseases has confirmed 982 cases of listeriosis since the outbreak began in January.
Listeria has an incubation period of up to 70 days, meaning that experts expect more cases will be reported in the coming days. Additionally, ready-to-eat meat products like those produced by the Polokwane factory have a long fridge life and can cross-contaminate other products, increasing the likelihood that more people will be infected.
Listeria infections are typically caused by eating contaminated food. Most healthy people under the age of 65 will have symptoms such as diarrhea and fever, though these infections are rarely diagnosed.
The infection is much more dangerous for older adults, people with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women (as it can cause miscarriages, stillbirths, and newborn death).
Typically, roughly 1,600 people get listeriosis each year, and about 260 die, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The most recent major listeria outbreak in the US was in 2011, when seven people died after eating contaminated cantaloupe.
The meat-production plant, Enterprise Foods' Polokwane production facility, issued a recall on its ready-to-eat processed meat products on March 4.
The homepage of Enterprise Foods' website is currently a public safety announcement, asking customers to remove produ
• Eight men charged in death of Bronx teen are under protection at Rikers Island
• Lesandro 'Junior' Guzman-Feliz, 15, was dragged from bodega and killed June 20
• Cops believe suspected gang members killed him in case of mistaken identity
• Protective measures are standard for prisoners under threat or high-profile
The eight men charged with the machete death of a Bronx teenager have been getting special treatment in jail due to threats against their lives.
The suspected Trinitarios gangbangers were removed from general population on Rikers Island after constant death threats over the June 20 slaying of Lesandro 'Junior' Guzman-Feliz, 15, a source told the New York Post.
Every time one of the eight inmates is moved from his cell, the block is placed on lockdown and corrections officers surround him while a captain films the transfer, the source said.
The eight suspects, who have all pleaded not guilty, are: Jose 'Canelito' Muniz, 21, Elvin Garcia, 23, Jose Taverez, 21, Manuel Rivera, 18, Danel Fernandez, 21, Joniki Martinez, 24, Santiago Rodriguez, 24, and Kevin Alvarez, 19.
Protective measures are standard procedure in most jails for high-profile inmates or those under threat.
Prosecutors say that the shocking murder was a case of mistaken identity, when one of the gang members falsely believed Guzman to be a man he'd seen having sex with a female love interest in a Snapchat video.
The case has drawn national outrage and fury at the Dominican street gang, with one member even apologizing to the victim's family over social media.
On Saturday, two of the suspects spoke out to protest their innocence, saying they had no part in the grisly crime.
Martinez-Estrella, 24, told the New York Daily News that he was hundreds of miles away in Pennsylvania when Guzman was forcibly dragged from the bodega and hacked to death on the sidewalk.
As someone who personally struggles with anxiety, I know that thing can be a monster. Though invisible, it can range from nerves about an upcoming meeting to crawl-out-of-my-skin-lions-thrashing-from-within for no actual reason at all.
And particularly when the latter version hits in full force, it’s always comforting to have that one person who can be the calm in your storm.
For Nikki Pennington, that person was her mom.
The day her mom died, piled on top of the grief, was the fear that she had lost the person who understood her best and who she could pour her heart out to when she became anxious.
Little did she know, her sweet mama had a secret plan in store to make sure her daughter would be taken good care of long after she was gone.
Nikki shared the heartbreakingly beautiful story on her Grief To Hope Facebook page, and I pray it can be an encouragement to anyone who struggles with anxiety. In this battle, you are never alone.
Read Nikki’s post in full below:
Anxiety has been a part of my life for as far back as I can remember.
It’s been there for so long that I don’t really recall a time in my life without it.
If you have anxiety then you know you have that one person. The one person that knows just how to help calm you down in the midst of the anxiety fog.
That one person for me was my Mom.
She knew just what to say, how to say it and the right moment to say it to help bring me back to reality. Her words and comfort were always stronger than my anxiety.
I always just assumed she would always be there to be my person but that all changed.
It was a few weeks after my husband and I were married and my anxiety kicked in, I said, “I have to call my Mom” he paused and said, “How about you talk to me instead? Just give me a try and see if I can compare.”
So I did, I gave him a chance to help ease my anxiety and it was as if I was talking to my Mom, it was as if I was talking to my person.
The calls to my Mom when my anxiety was in full force became less and less.
Martine Vos is a volunteer with Cat Shelter Linberg, a group in Belgium. She loves rescuing homeless kitties. She was called out on a mission last week she won’t soon forget.
“A man called our rescue number because he found a very little black kitten, only a few days old,” Vos told The Dodo. “He asked us to come and pick up this little baby.”
Vos and her fellow volunteers would soon learn that everything isn’t what it seems where this kitten is concerned. They searched the area where she was found; no mother or siblings were located. Vos would have to take the abandoned kitten to a foster family.
It was around this time when she noticed something unusual about the deserted kitty. “When I took the baby in my hands, she seemed really big, and it felt totally different how a kitten should feel,” Vos said. And on a closer examination of her face revealed it wasn’t like a kitten’s either.
Vos and a colleague visited a veterinarian to see if they could help identify the species of their mystery animal. But the vet was stumped too. “The one thing she was sure of is that it was a baby girl,” Vos said.
The volunteer’s next option was to consult a wildlife rescue center. And with that decision, the puzzle was solved. “They recognized it as a baby fox,” Vos said. Fox pups are a darker shade earlier in life, and their look can resemble a cat.
Vos was grateful to learn the animal’s true identity. “Firstly, because I am really interested in the native wild animals,” she said. “And because of my surname ‘Vos’, which means ‘fox’ in Dutch. It was my dream to meet a fox in real life. So holding this little baby fox in my hands and preventing it from a certain death was a dream that came true!”
How awesome for Vos! Since then, the baby fox has been placed with wildlife experts until she’s old enough to return to the wild.
Though this particular rescue call wasn’t for a feline, Vos is still thrilled to have been involved. “As a volunteer for Cat Shelter, I am committed to help ani
