I microwave a light bulb at night, so you can see how bright it is. This one lasted surprisingly long.
My 53 inch Fresnel (Fra'nel) lens focused on a pot of old gasoline with some water added. I like the swirls in the liquids, caused by the different heating rates of the two liquids. No fire, the gas didn't vaporize. About 800 watts focused in the center of the pot.
In this clip, I get to microwave some salt. It's not terribly exciting, but there are a couple of good seconds.
In this shot, I can be seen microwaving some marshmallows!
