TicaBus Safety: Is Tica Bus safe? *******www.carrieandjonathan****/tica-bus-takes-us-from-managua-nicaragua-to-san-salvador-el.html We traveled on TicaBus from San Jose, Costa Rica to Managua, Nicaragua, where we took a local bus to Granada. We traveled from Managua north through Honduras to San Salvador, El Salvador. We traveled from San Salvador to Guatemala City. Tica Bus also goes into Mexico, but we didn’t go that far north. There was plenty to see in Guatemala. On the way back, we went from Guatemala City to San Salvador, San Salvador to Managua, where we again took the local bus to Granada. However, the TicaBus picked us up in Granada to go back to San Jose, and our most recent trip on TicaBus was to take the bus from San Jose to David, Panama. We felt safe the whole time on TicaBus. *******www.carrieandjonathan****/tica-bus-takes-us-from-managua-nicaragua-to-san-salvador-el.html

*******www.CarrieAndJonathan**** Carrie and I found ourselves with lots of bugs and critters around during our second two weeks in Boquete, Panama. I made this video to showcase a few of the bugs we found one day. I'm no Steve Irwin, but I loved what he did and hope this video comes across as a bit of a tribute. *******wisdomish****/?contact-solution While Alcon Unique PH seems to be running out of stores (seems Alcon has decided not to make it much longer), it is available through this link. Carrie uses this contact solution for her hard gas permeable contact lenses since it feels the best on her sensitive eyes. She also likes that it cleans and soaks, all in one. Cheapest price we have found on a 3 pack of Alcon Unique PH is here: *******wisdomish****/?contact-solution

*******www.CarrieAndJonathan**** Cigar Rolling in Granada, Nicaragua, with Carrie And Jonathan. We learned that each cigar has at least 5 leaves rolled together. They are then pressed for at least 5 minutes per side in a press built especially for cigars. Then, they are given to a woman, and only a woman. Only a woman can put the decorative leaf finish on the cigars. Why? Because a woman is more aesthetically able to do this part of the job. It´s really amazing to see one come together. We were told that each person could make about 500 cigars per day. That´s a lot of cigars. We had so much fun at Mombacho Cigars that we wish we knew someone who smoked. They would have made a great gift. (But, actually, we´re thankful that we know all non-smokers.) Then, our guide asked us if we would like to try rolling our own. Of course we took her up on that suggestion as well. *******www.CarrieAndJonathan****

Our Boquete, Panama vacation rental property. For at least two weeks, we've been at this vatation rental in Boquete, Panama. Even though we're not on vacation, this rental has been our favorite place to stay in Panama so far. Boquete is much cooler than the rest of Panama and the Casita here is the best place we've rented (so far) in our 4 1/2 weeks on the road. *******www.carrieandjonathan****/happy-panamanian-independence-day.html Independence Day in Panama By default, Carrie and I ended up in David, Panama for Panamanian celebrations of Independence from Colombia.
