Paneer is the most delicious and I'm sure everybody's favorite ingredient of all time. It is so versatile and we can cook the way we like. So in this recipe, I have used paneer to make this amazing stuffed bread rolls or stuffed hot dog buns.
Ingredients for making Paneer Boats :
Paneer Bhurji :
- Oil (1 Tbsp)
- Butter (1 Tbsp)
- Onions (1/3 Cup)
- Ginger Garlic Paste (1 Tbsp)
- Tomatoes (1/3 Cup)
- Salt to taste
- Sugar (1 Tsp)
- Cumin Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Coriander Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Red Chilli Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Garam Masala (1/2 Tsp)
- Turmeric (1/4 Tsp)
- Grated Paneer (1 Cup)
- Kasuri Methi (1/2 Tsp)
- Mayonnaise (1/4 Cup)
- Hot dog buns (4)
Garlic Butter :
- Minced Garlic (2 Tbsp)
- Minced Coriander (1 Tbsp)
To Top the buns :
- Grated Cheese (1/2 Cup)
( You can use Mozzarella or Cheddar, any melting cheese will do)
- Dried Oregano
- Chilli Flakes
Procedure for making Paneer Boats :
Paneer Bhurji :
- Take a pan/ Kadhai
- Put oil & butter
- Put onions and ginger garlic paste
- Saute until raw smell disappears
- Put finely chopped tomatoes
- Put salt, sugar, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder
- Saute for 2 - 3 min
- After the tomatoes are softened and cooked properly
- Put grated Paneer
- Saute until well combined
- Put kasuri methi and mix it up
- Let it cool slightly
- Put mayonnaise and mix it
- Create a cavity in the hot dogs
- Make garlic butter by mixing butter, minced garlic and fresh coriander
- Brush garlic butter onto the buns
- Preheat and bake the buns at 180C for 8 - 10 min or until the buns are toasted
- Fill the boats with paneer bhurji
- Put grated Cheese on it
- Sprinkle oregano and chilly flakes
- Bake at 180C for 10-15 min until the cheese is melted
- Put some fresh coriander
- Enjoy this amazing yet very easy recipe.
