#PaquitaRico #Coplas #SerieRarezas

This week’s music releases include remixes and covers of Sir Paul McCartney's hits, a trilogy from country crooner, Eric Church, hard-hitting rock from Greta Van Fleet and live sounds from Grammy-winner, Norah Jones. Sir Paul McCartney's latest release McCartney III Imagined, is an interesting remake of the album he recorded during lockdown 2020, McCartney III. This time, the 12-track album features remixes and covers by other artists including; Beck, Dominic Fike, St. Vincent, Josh Homme, Damon Albarn, Phoebe Bridgers, and more. Heart is the first installment of Country star, Eric Church's Heart & Soul trilogy. This ambitious project is tied in with two other albums due out later this month. Soul and "&" a vinyl fan club only release. Church and his band recorded the 28 songs in 28 days in a restaurant they converted to a music studio in Banner Elk, North Carolina. Michigan-born rockers Greta Van Fleet are keeping the flame of Classic Rock alive with their latest, The Battle at Garden's Gate. Taking their cue from such rock giants as Led Zeppelin and Rush, they’ve doubled down on their hard - hitting sound with this new record. The single "My Way Soon" released in October 2020, hit #1 in January 2021 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. 'Til We Meet Again is Norah Jones' first-ever live album culled from performances all over the world including; Argentina, Brazil, France, Italy and the US from 2017-2019. It also spans her entire career ranging from her multi-Grammy winning debut in 2002, to her most recent single "I'll Be Gone.” The album closes with her version of Soundgarden’s "Black Hole Sun" which she recorded just days after the passing of Chris Cornell.

In the film, Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his family must face against a new deadlier enemy in the form of Jakob (Cena), Dominic's younger brother, as well as their old threat Cipher (Theron). After the events of The Fate of the Furious (2017), Dominic Toretto and his family must face Dominic's younger brother Jakob, a deadly assassin, who is working with their old enemy Cipher, and who holds a personal vendetta against Dominic. F9 was originally scheduled for worldwide release in April 2019, but was delayed several times, first due to the releases of Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and No Time to Die (2021), and then the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now officially scheduled to world premiere in South Korea on May 19, 2021, and is set to be released in the United States on June 25, 2021.

Room 2017 turns a hopeless failure into nerve-wrecking story. It's every director's nightmare: to return home without your material. This is exactly what happened to director Rob Smits. At the beginning of Room 2017 we find him in a hotelroom in Taipei. He has just returned from a trip to the Yanomami Indians in the deep green of Venezuela. Few men with a camera had spent time with this fierce tribe before him. But money talks even in the wildest jungle today, and on the day of his departure all but one of Smits' tapes were confiscated. Drifting through Taipei, capturing cityscapes that express his disorientation in a way that reminds us of Wenders' brilliant documentary Tokyo-Ga, Smits has to ask himself the desperate question: 'How to make a film with no footage?' The result is not only a highly inventive minimovie, creating a visual story from scrap, but also a contemplation on identity in a world where escaping the ratrace has become all but impossible. We see a truly nerve-wrecking story of a man trying to regain what he was out to lose in the first place. Room 2017 turns a hopeless failure into a brilliant film.

Earth Defense Force 2017 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Earth Defense Force 2017 for Xbox 360. Released in 2007, this game was developed by Sandlot and published by D3. This game wasn't exactly a big budget AAA experience, but that doesn't stop it from being a ton of fun to play! The entire thing is destructible, and even though the story is worse than a Uwe Boll movie, there's no denying that everything is a blast! It also has giant ants, and who doesn't want to squash giant ants with a rocket launcher?! This video review features video gameplay footage of Earth Defense Force 2017 for Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Gabe.
