Classic Game Room reviews THE LEGEND OF ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME 3D for Nintendo 3DS by Nintendo. The epic adventure starring Link returns with improved visuals, refined graphics, 3D graphics and new controls for the handheld 3DS. Those who beat the game can enjoy it in a whole new way with the Master Quest mode and don't forget to learn to play the ocarina on the touch screen! This CGR video review of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D on Nintendo 3DS has Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D gameplay from the Nintendo 3DS showing Zelda game play in HD action.
Classic Game Room reviews PES 2011: Pro Evolution Soccer 3D for Nintendo 3DS from Konami, the handheld version of Konami's excellent football / soccer videogame. This CGR review of PES Soccer for Nintendo 3DS has 3D gameplay from PES 2011 recorded in 2D showing PES 2011 3DS game play during this PES 2011 video review.
Classic Game Room reviews ASPHALT 3D for Nintendo 3DS from Gameloft and Ubisoft. This arcade style driving game is like Burnout mixed with Blur and Underground and countless other wild, flashy driving games. Players should find plenty of races to drive like a maniac through as Asphalt 3D packs a ton of challenges, tracks and licensed cars. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Ducati, Ferrari and Bently cars and bikes are in the game. This CGR review of Asphalt 3D has gameplay from the Nintendo DS version of Asphalt 3D showing Aslphalt 3D handheld 3-D driving race car action game play in HD.
Classic Game Room reviews SUPER MONKEY BALL 3D for Nintendo 3DS from Sega. This 3D version of Super Monkey Ball on Nintendo 3DS has depth of field and shows some cool 3D effects on the bananas flying around the screen with a rotating playing field in space. The effect is neat but grating on the eyes after a while, thankfully Super Monkey Ball 3D can be played in 2D with one D to spare. Super Monkey Ball 3D for 3DS also has several mini games called Monkey Race and Monkey Fight which are clones of Super Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Brawl respectively. Not terribly original but fun and addicting additions to the Super Monkey Ball gameplay. Super Monkey Ball 3D lacks much of the challenge of earlier games in the series but packs creative visuals and hours of gameplay. This CGR review of Super Monkey Ball 3D has gameplay from Super Monkey Ball 3D on Nintendo 3DS.
Classic Game Room reviews RESIDENT EVIL: THE MERCENARIES 3D for Nintendo 3DS from Capcom. Short, explosive, zombie-infested and straight to the point. Shoot baddies for points in this arcade style take on Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 gameplay.
Classic Game Room reviews DUKE NUKEM 3D for Sega Saturn. The hilarious, iconic first person shooter from 3D realms originally released in 1996 found its way onto the Sega Saturn shortly thereafter. Sluggish gameplay with lag and delay basically ruins what is otherwise an awesome first person shooter. While Duke Nukem 3D is playable on the Sega Saturn and a truly awesome videogame, there are better versions of Duke Nukem 3D out there (PC and Xbox 360). This CGR review of Duke Nukem 3D has gameplay from Duke Nukem 3D showing game play on Sega Saturn.
Classic Game Room HD reviews WOLFENSTEIN 3D for PS3 from the Playstation Network store, also available for Xbox 360 on Xbox Live Arcade XBLA, Wolfenstein 3D is originally from id Software and was released in 1992 on PC. This version is published by Activision for Playstation 3 and XBLA and runs in 720P high definition (on PS3) and looks and sounds terriffic. Regarded as the first, modern first person shooter, this FPS is extremely fun and timeless. Waste Nazis in a castle (hideout or something) and blast away with machine guns and miniguns. Wolfenstein 3-D is an extreneky good value giving you all six episodes and missions (each with numerous levels) where you can slaughter your way through to end bosses and find hidden rooms and treasure. Unlock PS3 trophies as you cruise through the game, Wolfenstein 3D (or Wolfenstien 3D if you're searching for an improperly spelled title on google) is a precurser to Doom and Quake and needs to be played by all FPS video game fans. This CGRHD review of Wolfenstein 3D has gameplay from PS3 Wolfenstein 3D also on XBLA for Xbox 360. Wolfenstein 3D can also be downloaded from iTunes for iPod as an app. Look out for gameplay secrets and rooms behind pictures as you play the game!
Crazy Chicken Pirates 3D review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Crazy Chicken Pirates 3D, a downloadable game from Teyon on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. Crazy Chicken Pirates 3D is touch-and-click shooter. It's kinda like a light gun game, only played with a stylus. You have 90 seconds to score as many points as possible. Obviously, points are scored by shooting things—chickens, sharks, bottles, barrels, whatever. The game isn't bad and it couldn't be simpler to play, but it's over quickly. That's the problem with Crazy Chicken Pirates 3D. Well, that and salmonella. This video review features video gameplay footage of Crazy Chicken Pirates 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D, a downloadable game from Teyon on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. Heavy Fire: Special Operations was originally released to WiiWare in 2010. Fast forward two years later, and the game has returned for a second campaign on the 3DS eShop. So much for second chances. This is, for the most part, the exact same game you got on WiiWare...only with 3D graphics and a stylus. And somehow, it's worse. This video review features video gameplay footage of Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
